Solarium Eye

The Solarium Eye is a piece of furniture that will shoot you. Simply an experiment on my part, I decided to explore object scripting, and what I found was potential that far exceeded that of mere weapons and shields.

The Solarium Eye is a versatile however expensive alternative to the traditional defense turret. Here's a rundown of it's features:

-Fires Solarium shards at targets on a timer

-Timer is long or short dependent on the direction its placed in

-Automatically finds targets within range of shots

-Locks on to all creatures- monsters, npcs, and even players

-Can lock on to multiple targets at once, shots cycle between targets

-Can be activated like a switch or hooked up to a wiring system, allowing for advanced setups

-Can be reused after placing

-Useful in any situation that requires something to be shot at indiscrimately, such as security, dungeons, or some sort of weird training setup

-Features a handy startup timer so you can run like heck before it starts barraging you

Q: How can I get one?
A: The recipe is automatically given to all players. Craft it at a wiring station.

Q: Why does the crafting recipe have so many obscure ingredients?
A: Lots of ingredients is the best way to make something hard to acquire. Just be glad I didn't throw a Solus Katana into the recipe.

Q: Does it work in multiplayer?
A: Not tested, but I see no reason why not. All methods used are multiplayer-friendly.

Q: Will there be more things akin to the Solarium Eye in future?
A: Yes.
