描述
Arisaka Type 99 Sniper Rifle from Call of Duty: World at War. The offset scope allowed this Japanese rifle to still be loaded with the aid of stripper clips. This particular model is an early one, as it has a monopod, and an anti-aircraft sight.

Replaces the "Schmidt Scout" on CSO2 Springfield anims ported by Rex.

I just wanted to see the Arisaka Sniper reloaded with stripper clips, so here it is. I have bent the bolt handle, like it is on an actual sniper version, and restored the missing stock with its world model. The scope texture had an unrealistic blued finish, the Japanese actually used black paint.

Are you ever going to add a walking animation? It looks kind of odd just bobbing up and down like an apple in water lol

This mod has not aged well and is one of my earliest works. Eventually I'll update all of them to my new standards, but since this is a 2008 Call of Duty model, I only have so much to work with.

probably you wont update this mod anymore nevertheless i just like to point out the world model is older than me. it looks really bad like a plastic toy with hexagon scope, the rifle doesnt have a hole at the tip of its barrel to save kids not to shoot each other i guess. you have even created an extra sound mod, i mean cmon arisaka deserves better. anyways regards! modders like you convert gaming experience into superb joy :2016imnotcrying:

There is no incendiary firing sound in the sound addon, I haven't uploaded an update yet.

This mod is old, so I might need to speed up the reload animation.

when that has the fire ammunition it sounds as if it were the original scout again
and I think the reload animation is a bit slow
