Metro Interchange Station

Hello all together !


I proudly present you another interchange station for your city network !
This one is a M.O.M. - Mod exclusive model.
The Metro Overhaul Mod is one of my favorites and I am glad that I started to learn
3d modeling, so that I am able to do the stations I ever wanted to have. :)
And this station is that special type of stations. :)

The model has somewhat arround 8200 Tris in total. I am not able to
present you the absolut exact tris size, because the numbers are different
between blender and the game itself.

The model consists of 12 buildings in total, which have all their custom
made lod mesh. The textures sizes for the models ranges from 1024² to 256².
The lod models textures vary from 512² to 128².
(The biggest one is the lod of the main model with arround 560 Tris, keep
that in mind if you have a "weaker" machine the play the game)

And yes, it is a huge model. Therefor I highly recomment, that you use
the Loading - Screen - Mod by thale5.

This mod will help you to reduce the amount of memory that is needed to use the asset.
The mod provides a technique to share the same textures from different models. And
all the textures I used in the different sub building are almost all the same.



There are some small issues within the model. Especially the path finding
of the cims. The version I uploaded is not perfect. Your cims will clip a
little bit through the mesh of the elevated tracks (next to the stairs) and
they will walk sometimes in a weird way.
But I honestly can not fix this. I have spend countless houres in the
object editor (almost the same time I needed to create the asset... ) trying
to find the perfect solution. (also with crashes; defective saves of the assets
and so on and on ... )
But in the end I think that this is not possible. At least not for me.
So I gave up and decided to use the best "ok" solution I could come up with.
I hope that is ok for you too.

The pink ped paths and the walking behaviour of the cims are a nightmare !!!
And finding out how to do it right is the biggest nightmare you can encounter !!!
So if anyone of you has some tips for me to lay down these paths in an easy
and relaxed way, feel free to share your knowlege with me ! ;)



Some tip. Place the asset on flat ground !
Btw. You´ll find the asset in the beautification tab (3rd) or by searching for
"metro".
