[⚠ Obsolete ⚠] Half-Life LD Weapon Pack [Alpha]

This addon is based off of Полковник's "Half-Life Weapon Pack", but instead of using the high definition models, it replaces them with the low definition ones instead. In other words, all models, textures and sounds have been changed with their low definition counterparts.
Please keep in mind that this addon is still in alpha, lots of bugs still lie in it (described below) that will be fixed in later versions.


Q: How do i get these weapons?
A: The same way you acquire them from Полковник's "Half-Life Weapon Pack", they're all in the Half-Life category in the weapons tab.

Q: Are all the HL1 weapons included?
A: Unfortunately, no, the Snark is missing. But don't blame it on me, but on Полковник instead. I did not create these sweps. :)


1. Propably the biggest bug in this addon is the fact that none of the chrome effects on specific textures work. A chrome effect was used a lot in Half-Life 1's models in 1998, and it was a cheap way to create reflections. Sadly, these do not work anymore in DirectX versions later than 9, and will instead appear completely black in-game, which can clearly be seen in the crowbar, the hand glove and the 357 magnum. The only way to fix this directly is to run Garry's Mod in DirectX 8.1 using the command "+mat_dxlevel 81" in its launch options without the quotes. Beware though; This will make the game look a lot worse but will increase performance on low end pc's.

2. The shotgun's pumping animation when the reloading is finished doesn't play.

3. The grenade's and satchel's throwing animations also don't play.
