This is pretty neat. Was this inspired by Animal Crossing's furniture sets?

Also, yeah, I would suggest muting the colour palette a little.

It's too bright, even an outline, try to add some depth in it

I think those are quite good, but the color pallettes you're using are way too bright. I would mute them a little bit. Also the darkest color for the outlines needs to be way darker. As it is, it's hardly visible, making the sprites clash with Starbound style and makes them appear very flat.
