Scrapyard (large) - Accepts & can process recyclable waste.


Relevant stats & info.

Cost - 5,000 permit fee.

Maintenance - 1520 p/wk

Pollution - Noise 150 Radius 200
Ground - 75 Radius 55

Workers - 20 uneducated workers + 14 educated machinary workers + 2 well educated individuals to answer the phone + 1 highly educated person to stand around armed with a clipboard.

Water - 192
Electric - 480

Fire Tolerance - 15

Trucks - 14

Collection radius - 1500
Capacity - 2,400,000
Process rate - 80,000 p/wk

Recycle rate of 12% is turned into useful goods for local industry.


Game Balance

Have based it upon being able to service circa 50% of the trash needs of a Busy Town.
I've tried to balance it against game assets & other reasonably balanced trash assets, such as those by Avanya & Fishbus.

Processes trash at a rate of $0.019 per T which is 2/3rd cost of an incinerator and is lower than most other (reasonably balanced) assets.
Cheap, noisy & polluting basically, with limited trucks and unethical practices.
Creates it's own trash due to unrecyclable waste materials.

Uses a lot of props, so special thanks to the creators of them (especially Avanya, Beardmonkey & Ronyx69 for the super decals). As without many, this wouldn't have been possible.
Props can now be found in the Scrap Pack collection for easier downloading

Personally, I feel like the upkeep should be lowered, 1520/week seems too much for a scrapyard but I ain't no expert.

was intrigued by this asset, sounds great; but the prop list complaint from everyone was valid, so I made a prop pack so we can all shut up and try the thing.:steamhappy:

Might be best to add the props in a collection with the scrapyard, I personally didnt download because of the ballache of downloading them all

You don't even get to keep the fence. I believe 2 containers & 1 car would be whats left. It's reliant on the props in the list.. that's why there's so many of them.
