Netheril: Age of Discovery, a Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition Persistent World

Greetings and welcome to Netheril: Age of Discovery, a Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition Persistent World. Netheril is a roleplay server where everyone is welcome to log in and begin their characters journey where political intrigue and harsh lands await you. Below is a little bit about our setting and everything you need to know to get started.

Level Range: It is possible to reach to level 20 which will be the soft-cap. Progressing past level 20 will require an application to the DM team. This will generally only be achieved by those characters who are renowned and champions of the region.

Systems: We feature a fully instanced quest system which allows players and their parties to take on challenging enemies in a variety of locations. You can travel long distance via boats, caravans or airships but must risk facing pirates, creatures or other encounters. The death system that has an option to subdue your foe and an option to use coins to reduce XP loss, or a riskier system that allows you to take your chances with Tyche, goddess of luck. Netheril has a unique housing system which allows you to choose and purchase a home for your character and decorate it as you see fit.
Spell Changes: A range of custom spells has been added along with new domains for clerics. Further details can be found on the wiki. Monster races are available to play and one of the districts of the hub city is a haven for them.

Setting: This server is based around what the Netherese dubbed "The Golden Age - The First Falling", marking the end of Netheril's Golden Age when the nation was at the very pinnacle of its power and moving to the beginnings of the Netheril's Age of Discovery. Our setting is the city of Conch in Lower Netheril. It is a prosperous and free city which has thrown off the shackles of the Netherese Empire for the time being but must be ever wary of the imperial yoke returning.

Netheril: Age of Discovery NWN RP server is set to reopen for a "soft relaunch" on Good Friday. A fun Easter Event will be run during the weekend.
