描述
THIS MAP WILL NOT WORK ON CURRENT PATCH.
It is only compatible with versions from 243520 to 326589.
To play you need to revert back to the one of the legacy beta in the steam game settings. THIS WILL DELETE YOUR SAVE FILE. This version is better for playing maps in general, as Croteam screwed us over and required all maps to be manually updated 4+ years after they were originally made, which is never going to happen.



THIS IS INTENDED FOR SPEEDRUNNERS.
If you don't know speedrun tricks then it is incredibly likely you will softlock.

Randomizes the location of all sigils (and optionally portals) in the game.

This is a weird issue that sometimes happens where you end up with files for both engine versions. Go to <game folder>/Content/Talos and delete every .gro that starts with two numbers

After switching to legacy pre-se2017, I get an error message when trying to open the game: "Cannot open file Content/Shared/Presets/Shaders/BatchedParticles.mtr". I tried verifying integrity of game files, still got the same message.

"legacy pre se2017" will have the best performance, it was the last version before the engine update. "speedrun-244371" is usually slightly better for (base game) speedruns, because it doesn't have a delay before you can re-enter a portal after resetting checkpoint - but you pay for this with worse performance. Since a lot of speedrun tricks are fps depenant, the difference used to matter - with newer hardware it becomes less relevant.

Which beta do you recommend reverting to to play this?

Hmmm yes I did open A1 gate, but I didn't think a sigil placed in that gate could be also needed to open another gate! It's not an issue in the regular original game, so I didn't realize it could be possible in Randomizer. Thanks for the info.

The only green sigils locked behind C are a J and Z, you don't need them. Did you open A1 gate? That's avoidable, like the messages that pop up when you open/solve that arranger say.

Whenever you load a level (reset checkpoint, go through a portal, die) the randomizer dumps a bunch of info to console about your settings, post those here. You can copy paste them from the log file in "[steam]\The Talos Principle\Log\Talos.Log" if you want.

I am not discarding any puzzle; I can complete all that I encounter. But the modified signs by each level's door clearly show which sigils are inside, and none of them show the final two green sigils I'm missing.
