描述

Approaching Hell is a custom campaign created by NHunter that aims to be a prequel to Serious Sam 3: BFE.

The Extended Edition not only includes fixes, improved lighting and some tweaked spawns, it also includes the fifth level of the campaign. And if you're wondering, yes I did get permission from NHunter himself to port his campaign to fusion.

The Story:
Sam was on the mission to destroy Mental's communication tower in one of the Egyptian cities, but his chopper was shot down. Thankfully, because he didn't wear his seat-belt, Sam survived the crash. But now he is all alone in the enemy-occupied territory, and he still needs to complete his mission: to destroy that damn tower.

- Solais for sending me his old updated versions of the first three levels to be used as a base for this update.
- Croteam for the new skybox textures.
- NSKuber and Ryason55 for the help with some scripts.
- Devostator for the help with some things in SED.

Just completed this mod on serious (blind). 7/10 since it breathes new life into an old game and is challenging overall, but there are way too many enemy spawns and there is just nowhere to comfortably strafe in the linear levels-- especially in Downtown.

It's SO good! Dynamic, fast-paced, fun secrets :D But I've encountered one bug: if you skip cut-scene on last level at the beginning you will have all your weapons from previous level but it didn't bother me much bcz I reset the level to make my experience the same as you intended it to be

This is gonna be a confession that this mod was one of the hardest I ever played in SS. Of special mention is the last level where you fight a horde that is tens of large enemies. Special thanks for the creator.
