Eclipse City [D4C]

"Here we are."

The boat connected with the dock and we all stumbled.

"Magical, isn't it?" With a smile on his face, Charlie opened his arms wide as if to embrace the atmosphere.

"No matter how many times I make the trip, it always feels like my first time visiting this place."

He was right. Eclipse City was something out of a fairy-tale: enormous deposits of dark energy from after the war ended up on the city's bedrock layer, and a supermnoon was suspended within the gravitational field, casting the city in darkness throughout mid-day. The buildings stretched obnoxiously upwards, elongated like spaghetti, as if they were reaching for the moon itself.

"Beautiful ... " The words left my lips like a caress, effortlessly billowing with the mist in the cold air. The entire ship had gone silent, motionless, as if gripped by the gravitational field the moon imposed on the city. Pictures of this place were one thing, but in person ... it was like staring into the face of a God. I reached my fingers out, as if to touch it, and auburn rays of light stretched back over the eastern horizon of the supermoon, warming my face.

This is my first Sprint map in earnest, I hope I did okay :)
