In the case of that comment for example, I don't think the diamond cost was intended to be preventing people making pet collections, but diamonds have to be rare for other reasons (value, for example) so pet collecting is harder because of it.
If players are willing to take the risk of messing with game balance with modding into their own hands and all, then why not.
Ideally the game should have used either a different resource that's easier to obtain and doesn't have the same balance issues as using diamonds, or just let you craft a lot at once to justify the diamond cost.
yeah the only thing thoes 2 diamond-nods guarantee is alot of timeconsuming grinding... and i do agree with you, the capture ball.
i think it is a fair creation you made due to the them being a little pricy indeed.
they could put in more raw diamondnods in the asteroidbelts prehaps...space-mining is already a good source for cooper silver and gold. and you can find crystals so why not diamonds? (just an idea)
personaly i dont mind the grinding unless it is so scarse but sometimes i found out quite ofted that the same suplypod often generate same stuff ofr the funktional ones rarly malfunktions and one of the best is them terofrming diamond
Still the info is good so its a good thing to share, though most people don't read comments so not sure how many will find it in the first place.
If you wanted say, 20 capture pods to get a lot of creatures as pets for your ship or something, you'd be visiting 10 times. It's not that that's difficult, but doing so doesn't really add any value to the game, its just a barrier to a fun thing for those players.
