Is there any way to stop it from auto-equipping when loading in? My game crashed a few times because I tried to use sprint hat (previously equipped) but the kaiju hat equipped over it upon loading in and gave me a script error because it tried to activate both hat abilities at once.

For some weird reason transforming back to normal size crashes the game (I was in Alpine Skyline Free roam when it crashed).

I can't confirm, but I think this idea was referneced in a small comic involving a giant Hat Kid chasing and hugging tiny, terrified Mafia.
