UPDATE 1.2: Minor bugfixes.

UPDATE 1.1: Added more pulse rifle varieties, changed sound effects, altered special abilities, updated names.

This mod adds randomly generated pulse rifle weapons to the game, similar to the pulse rifles that were cut from the early releases of Starbound. They're inspired by the weapons used by the colonial marines in the movie Aliens, though some variations take inspiration from several other sci-fi rifles. They all have 100% custom art and names, and they use the standard secondary abilities such as grenade launchers and explosive shot. You can find them in chests or any container that uses default weapon loot tables, and occasionally buy them from merchants.

I had been planning on releasing this mod for several months now, and most of it was finished for a long time, but I didn't get around to wrapping it up until now. At the moment there's only one sound effect between every pulse rifle, but eventually more will be added. Hopefully you'll enjoy the content in this mod, and if there are any bugs or issues, let me know and I'll fix it as soon as possible. Enjoy the new weapons and keep on hunting bugs!

Is it possible that you could add integration with the weapon assembly mod to make the weapons custom colors??

Yes. I specifically prefix all item ids with stolte_ so that my mods won't conflict with others. However, this also means that the pulse rifles from Supper's Combat Overhaul will not use my pulse rifle sprites, and my pulse rifles will not use Supper's weapon mod system or alt abilities.

I don't think it would be the result of incompatibility with other mods. I noticed that bug once myself with another weapon mod of mine, but I didn't think this one had it as well. I'm not sure what's causing it, but I'll investigate and see if I can figure it out.

gotta say, I love pulse rifles, I have encountered a very unusual and somehow unrepeatable bug in which a pulse rifle was crashing my game whenever I hovered over it, I do have god dame weapon names installed (which adds more weapon names to the namepool) but otherwise I don't know what was causing it, it hasn't happened again since
