In a world filled with endless deceit, destruction and death, sometimes one must find something beautiful. And what is more beautiful than that which is always at your side - until death claims that too?

Soulmates is a mod which aims to make marriage and relationships more meaningful by adding more events, decisions and effects related to interactions between characters and their wives/husbands. Share life's burdens together, because it's dangerous to go alone. Make those vows of 'till death do us part' actually mean something; don't let your wife or husband stay Stressed and Depressed forever, and they'll do the same for you.

Features:
- Female homosexual marriage - can be enabled or disabled as a game rule.
- Female homosexual children (courtier assisted, Satanic, or alchemical)
- Ruler spouse assistance events. Spouses will assist (or fail to assist) according to what specialisation their education trait dictates. Midas Touched spouses will go and invest your gold well; Misguided Soldiers will do little more than get themselves injured. A caring spouse may even take his or her time to look after a Stressed or Depressed ruler, and make sure that they get better.
- Spouse assistance decisions. Have a landless spouse that is just idling in your court? Order him/her to do some useful work for you! Improve your demesne militarily, economically or diplomatically. Of course, this assumes that you have a competent spouse...
