Better Chains

描述
Changes the graphics for chains so they can go diagonal and sideways.

If this mod somehow isn't working for you, try out Better Chains Alternative which adds the chains as their own unique item rather than editing the vanilla one.

Would it be possible to make a mod like this for pipes and girders? I know there's already one for pipes but it was discontinued two years ago and I'm not sure if it still works.

@Alb, thanks for giving me permission. I'll be sure to link to this mod page when I eventually get around to uploading it.

I really don't know if any of the mods actually modify the chain files or not, but I also haven't checked every single one of them.

Then that means that there's another mod that is modifying the vanilla chain item, and that it's being loaded AFTER this mod. I think.

There is a simple way to fix this, though I would need to know what mod is touching the vanilla chains in order to get this fixed right and cleanly.

For now, I'd like to know what mods you're using so I can start to figure out the problem mod. (use pastebin or something) And to make things all official...

@Sentient Cookie, you MAY upload your workaround mod that adds the chain as a unique item. I simply request that you include my name as the original author and add a link to the original mod in your mod description, as well as details to what exactly you're mod is doing. When I find out what the problem is and upload my update-fix, and confirm that everything is ok, I would politely ask that you take down your mod.

For some reason, I could never get the mod to work. I ended up unpacking your .pak file and using all of your assets to create a separate mod that adds a new chain item into the game. So far, it's working as it should be, thanks to your scripting and image files.

I won't upload it anywhere unless you give me permission to do so, since all of the files I used are yours [minus the vanilla files I modified].
