N.S112 Feather River Canyon - Immersive Freight Experience No. 1 - Keddie

First of a new style of Free Roam freight scenario, where you get involved as you prefer.

Route: Feather River Canyon
Duration: 20 minutes or ..up to you
Scenario: Free Roam

For progammed engine I will use (AI) and for pure Free Roam I will use (FR).

Start by joining the moving 758 (AI) which you then control, so choose Forward, apply power and release the brake, but follow the instruction to stop over the gorge on the trellis bridge.

You must have stopped before you can then hover and join 753 (AI) and take control to stop at the next red light.

Once stopped you can join 759 (AI) and go through the tunnel.

It is up to you what you do now.

I suggest 920D (FR) and collect the empty timber wagons and go for a trip or join 769.

Note: once you have left any (AI) train it will then carry on and complete it's task.

Check the map to see what is happening to plan any route, for changing points etc.

There are certain rules/guidelines you must be aware of:
1) You can only join and control any (AI) ONCE during it's programmed task.
2) Once any (AI) has finished it's programmed task, you can then control it again (758 is the best example for this scenario).
3) You must stop the (AI) to jump to another.
4) You do NOT have to join any (AI) but can use the Free Roam camera and just watch as you please.
5) You can just join either 769 (FR) or 920D (FR) and just change points as allowed to have a Free Roam (dependent upon the (AI) pathing).
6) You can rejoin (second time) any (AI) for the ride - but cannot control it anymore unitl tasks completed.

Note: As each 'Train Approaching' message appears top right, this is your cue to swap (at the start of this scenario).

Remember as soon as you join an (AI) you must: 1. choose forward 2. apply power 3. release the brake.

There are 5 locomotives in this scenario:
(AI) 758, 753, 759 and (FR) 920D & 769.

Tab and Ctrl Tab may still apply for you.
