Basically this is a 3rd Rail version of the London Transport Heritage Route and also includes the original tram route from the original Phorum route - however I've had to use TS Academy assets for the wires. The tram track is pretty much the same as the original - but I have updated the scenery to at least match the rest of the route using the Academy assets and LT Heritage route assets. This route is essentially a copy of the "London Transport Heritage Route + Tram" route with the 4th Rail removed. This route includes quick drive.

The Tram Line is essentially called the A Line (might as well be considering all the benches have "A"s on them" because of the use of Academy Orange benches). The Tram Line isn't that long on the route - but that's what it was originally - I only readded the track - and updated the scenery for this section. (the reason why I didn't take it out of the heritage route was so that someone might do it )

Route Requirements

Updates
  • Fixed issue with Level Crossing at Breakwater Halt
  • Replaced Repeaters at Breakwater Dock and Vindelis with 2 aspect ones from TS Academy
  • Added Exit signal at Depot Sidings
  • Added Entry "S" for Sidings at Vindelis
  • Replaced Signal NP 57 with a signal with P4 Feather.
  • Replaced Semaphore near Henry VII Halt with Correct aspect.
  • Removed Limit of Shunt near Breakwater Dock (was only a scenery object)
  • Replaced above with 3asp signal (NP145)

Notes - Does not require original Phorum route. Also to note I haven't added in the original narrow guage track mainly because the steam section on the route takes that over, but that is personal preference. (As I prefer the Southern region look to it )

The only one I found on steam was the one in black forest railway (which is a reskin of the Croydon Tramlink on UKTrainsim), there are other trams (frankfurt U Bahn) - but that's not a street level one.

Are there any good tram models you'd recommend for running the coastal tramway? This route looks good for scenarios set before the London Transport Museum took the route over.

In this case, i don't think i've changed anything track related, other than 4th rail to 3rd rail, although changing an entire route to a different track altogether would something different.

You can change the track texture to a different texture simply by selecting the track, and changing it in the menu on the right (when it appears), although completely different track altogether would require editing of files.

Hiya, may I ask how you change track types on routes so easily? I really want to convert a route to narrow gauge but don't want to relay nearly 40 miles...
