Many Avali have complained about the dull grey look of the distortion shere tech. We answered your call and bring you The Avali Distortion Sheres. Instead of boring grey, they are slightly less boring white with those fancy black holes on them... Maybe the nexus will know what they're for, just... Nope. Well they're fancy and Avali seem to like them!

THIS MOD IS CLIENT SIDE AND CHANGES THE SPRITE OF THE DISTORTION SPHERE TECH FOR ALL RACES MODED OR NOT

Comes With!
-Distortion Shere reskin
-Spiky Ball Of Awesomeness reskin (spike sphere]
-Sonic Rip-Off Shere (sonic shere)
-Useless Water Ball Thing? (water shere)
-And Awesome Icons to go with!!

Known Issuse!
-Water Shere fullbright is the same as vanilia starbound and is being a slight pain in the ass right now

You could even go one further and have variants to cover other types in things like FU or the RPG, although, as nice as these are, I find myself using the glide instead in FU basically all the time!
Heck, all I need is a translocator and I may never go into ball form again.

That's actually probably super possible, I think. I've been told by folks on the Starbound discord that race specific quests are possible. So all that would really be required would be to make a separate tech quest path for Avalis that unlocked a set of techs that were functionally identical to the vanilla ones but used the Avali themed skins. In theory at least. I might could try to code that if the author wasn't interested in coding it themself and would be okay with a collab.

It would be nice if there was a way to make these only usable for the Avali, or at least, if people wanted to use these while not playing an Avali, adding them as separate techs so you have the option.

@Blip agred i buert out of that game so hard its ashes and dont ever think about talking about it as i may have a creeper jacker and like creepers i just cant ever get back into it my self but i watch youtube vids on it is that werd?

I plan on it. I'm just taking a break from Starbound. I love the game it's just that I have a habbit of burning out on games pretty fast. I still get back into them... unless your name is Minecraft... :steamfacepalm: I don't talk about that game anymore.
