Very unique game which is all about remarkable writing and atmosphere. It's about middle-aged guy who goes to work into the wild to close the gaps in the past and there is hope, remorse and denial on the way. During the game your only interlocutor is a fellow firewatch a couple miles from you and the task which might have seemed quite regular turns out to be more serious and mysterious than expected. Taking few hours to complete Firewatch can really easily grab you with it, but there is not much replayability though, due to very enlightening conclusion and the lack of extra content.

Firewach is still something very special, which I can recommend to anyone and looking forward to developers' next title as well.

A very basic, but solid one man project. I remember playing the first one years ago and being free game I found it pretty decent with good writing, good action, good environments, totally good overall, which never could be anything AAA-quality, but should it even be. Estranged: The Departure follows the same story, but not strictly from the same point where the first game ended. Primary change between the games is the engine and this may really divide opinions, but while Source engine is uglier than its Unreal counterpart, some of the things not work as well as in first one. In part 1 there where visible NPC:s and some puzzles when this does not have them, although we must still remember that this is in early access. Speaking of which I think that while the game has its conclusion applied some of the very last sequences are to be updated.

While Part II does not have some of the cool features which first game provided it is still good quality game. Nothing weak, nothing excellent, just good good and good. Might be just about worth of five dollars if you want some indie action.

Decent atonement and the ending for a trilogy that started out gorgeously, but stumbled in the second title. Crysis 3 has learned from mistakes of its predecessor and while it never reached the excellence of the very first game the strict linearity has partly faded out and it felt very entertaining at times while it might have been the lower expectations which made me to think like so. Honed to its full beauty CryEngine powered Crysis 3 still looks extremely great and I loved the environments which were like a mixture of Crysis1 and Crysis2 with a ruined NY turned to an jungle and same can be said with the OST which give goosebumps. Concluding a game series story can be a really hard job to do, but I believe that if the devs did not hit in the bull's eye they came up very close at least, although that first game's stud Nomad is totally wiped and not even being mentioned and story is mainly build on the line which Crysis2 delivered. Nevertheless, words that end the game calls: "Remember me." and I surely would answer "I always will." Trilogy has come to an end.

Really good writing (a bit cliche) but still great! It digs into deepest human questions that what is good, what is bad and their moral dilemma. If you have a thing with philosophy this should be the game you try out next!

We need more games like these! INFRA is about puzzles and exploring spiced with a gripping story line. Playing as middle aged veteran handyman you go through so many interesting and variable places that should exceed the expectations of even the most high standard player. The game really takes dozens of hours to beat and completionists can drown the game for small eternity for there is a lot of interesting eastern eggs lurking on every corner.

INFRA takes everything possible out of Source Engine and while the game can feel slightly outdated it is the wide ration of different environments that boost the game to its beauty. Going through nature, abandoned industry buildings, empty office buildings and even through the darkest corners of underground tunnels I could just admire that how the devs have had passion to make this all come alive.

The game really is something genuinely unique and if you have ever had smallest dream to go exploring abandoned infrastructure in real life then this is a goldmine. If I ever found something bothering in INFRA it was the lack of side characters which could have buffed the story a bit, but yet again it is about infra and not the people!

Nothing lasts forever and everything breaks down..

A masterpiece. It is like an endless nightmare you never want to become to an end. Mixture of really dark humor and real Renaissance artworks the game establishes something so unique and genuine that usually kept me dropping the jaw. Being as witty, gorgeous and hunting it easily leaves players to just want more when they reach its state of completeness.

Lorelai - the third and final game in this already legendary Harvester Games -Trilogy might not hit as near to the bull's eye than the previous two games, but it's still unforgettable psychological horror with good characters, twists and turns.

Unlike previous games Lorelai is named by it's protagonist, who is in late teens, has a dilemma with her family which is tearing apart by her stepfather. The story is gruesome and it really does not spare player from gasping or getting anxious time to time and once I really needed to consider taking a break and have walk outside and not because the game made me ♥♥♥♥ in my pants, but how it metaphorically struck a nail in my brain.

Graphically Lorelai beats older titles Downfall and Cat Lady by presenting more colorful and detailed environments and 3D-modelling has been taken into the next level. The gameplay with inventory and movement has stayed quite the same though and why shouldn't it - there is no reason to fix something which is not broken.

So where is the beef? Why the all concluding Lorelai is the "worst" game in the series? Firstly the pressure, because we all Harvester fans would like to see the game end with the big bang and while there is a lot of references in the older games and many kind of conclusions can be made when the credits roll, I still felt that Lorelai was more a game among the two others and not lifting itself above. Secondly and more crucially the theme of the game feels less serious: for example after seeing Cat Lady where mid-aged, unemployed and isolated Susan Ashforth is actually fighting for her mental state for preventing her doing something nasty for herself or by god others around her, Lorelai's story might feel like a piknik if that's even possible or appropriate to say.

Nevertheless Lorelai is still high quality psychological horror that I can truly recommend for all mature gamers. It is great addition and in a way it almost feels like a final part for the reversal continuum which started from mid-age crisis, which after busted through attachment and commitment problems and finally concluding in the verge of teenage traumas.

Lorelai: 9-
Downfall: 9+
Cat Lady: 10-
