If I wanted to play a game that made the same mistakes Battlefield 2042 did, I'd just play 2042. Not only does this game have operators (which everyone rejected when 2042 did it), they managed to make them even cringier. The voice lines are so bad. As is, in terms of large scale pvp this game provides nothing that 2042 can't already, and this game does it worse.

Just left Act 1 and I'm amazed at how good this is.

Gameplay is pretty great, parkour much better than the first. Unfortunately, the game is much more mindless Ubisoft-esque open world than I hoped for. Story is also not amazing, which wouldn't be a big deal if they didn't focus on it way more than it deserves. Also lots of issues with stuttering and crashes, so I just got tired of fighting with the game.

One of the first true PC games that isn't a shooter I've gotten into. Very fun and great for wasting time

Quests are terrible, moving around the world is super slow and makes questing worse.

One of the best horde mode/zombie games out there.

I just recently decided to play through the Half-Life series for the first time. I tried HL1 for a few minutes but it was hard for me to get past how dated it felt. So I decided to get Black Mesa, and it's turned out to be one of the best single player shooters, maybe single player games, I've played in my entire life. Nearly every level was memorable, especially Xen and fighting the ballsack monster and the Jimmy Neutron monster. Every level felt like I was peering into video game history and seeing the origin of the shooters we have today. 100% must by for any fan of singleplayer shooters.
