good game especially with friends, and it only keeps getting better

Absolutely a buy. Very complex game for the price.

Insanely fun game with lots of features coming (hopefully). Definitely worth $20 as is, can't wait to see 1.0

I REALLY love this game. But it's super f'ked up right now. The UI and Text gets a jarbled and messed up when Steam overlay does literally anything, and it stays that way. Sucks that I have to turn off my overlay just to play this.

I love this game, but only because I main alien, so I'm leaving this review from a purely alien-based viewpoint.

I'll start by saying that if you decide to buy this game, I STRONGLY recommend that you start your first few sessions as alien to learn the layout of the map, learn where aliens can/can't go, and experience first-hand how insanely vulnerable you are to light sources, even weak ones. Once you feel comfortable playing as the alien, you are more than ready to try playing as merc. Experienced players, even solos, are very difficult to deal with unless you have both aliens working together; an experienced 3 man is next to impossible to take down.

This is a game where knowledge and experience is more than half of the battle. If you stick with this game, watch some YT videos and really try to get better, you'll enjoy this game.

Alien gameplay tho: 9/10 can use some adjustments. If you've ever played any AvP games, you'll surely like this.

I like it. Reminds me of the old days of Ghost Recon. Definitely worth a look and could use more guys on US servers :)

What is the point of a FKING crosshair if your bullets just fly outside of it? Sure remove the laser off all the guns, genius idea. Whatever bozo at Capcom thought that was a good idea should be fired. A lot of people who played 2005 to death will see the issues with this game and why it doesn't hold up to the original. I think the thing I liked the most about this remake is Ashley! Which is saying a lot. Holy cow, what a missed opportunity.

good. worth the money

The multiplayer system is probably the worst I've ever seen in a souls game. The laggiest, choppiest and most frustrating invasions when you can't even hit the invader or straight up disconnect from connection error. I have only won a single invasion and I'm pretty sure I was lagging on that guys screen too. Everything just feels like it needs tweaking so thumbs down until fixes are implemented.
