Combat is pretty awful, UI looks like something someone painted using MSPaint, I'll give the graphics some points but only for the lighting, as the "retro" graphics of 2001 don't turn me on.

I started the game, followed some abstract instructions by a bird, which is okay as I just came from playing elden ring and didn't want the regular hand-holding gameplay, I went ahead and cut some trees, picked up stones and built some basic tools.
After that, I walked a little over where I'm supposed to go (my guess, at least), in other words, I was executed (1 shot) by a skeleton archer.. Simply one swift arrow and I was executed, sent back 30 minutes and decided this is not the morning to play the game.

I'll be giving this a 2nd attempt one day, but my first impression is pretty bad. especially the combat which in my opinion does seem to take inspiration by the model of combat implemented by a traditional souls game, but did not take that inspiration well as it is seen in the overall bad controls (no lock on that I've spotted, which could've helped with controller players).

Amazing game for its price.

honestly I don't get why people love this game and why people hate this game, it's a decent game, but for me I get low fps on a ryzen 5800 + rtx 3070 so it's a no-no
