Great dirt therapy!

I real like this and I think it has a lot of potential for the future.

Prepare to lose many hours :)

I think when MP comes out it will take the game to a whole new level and lets not forgot when we can make mods as well that will great.

The game is very addictive with mods!

This game continues to get better with each update, and is updated quite often.

I like features they have added to the game such as, opening cargo doors on the trailer and walking to the freight office to accept/deliver jobs with the signature.

I think the graphics still could be improved and the steel wheel has a dead zone I can't seem to turn off.

But the game is going in the right direction, as long as they continue to update and improve the game.

It has been a long time since I have updated my review of this game and a lot has changed in the last 7 years. I decided I wanted to give you an updated view on what I think of American Truck Simulator.

Lets start with the cons

1) Freight train are to short (But there are mods that can fix this )

2) AI traffic are not that good but its the same in ETS2

3) The job market is better than it was and has more options but still not perfect.

4) I find the standard sounds not as good as they used to be, such as when driving if you take your foot of the throttle the sound seems to just stop. Mods can fix this but it's a shame that it's become like this.
Now the pro's of there are alot of them.

1) The map detail is fantastic, the new dlc's just get better and better and existing parts are updated over time and now have new details and features that make the game seem fresh to play even if you have been playing this since day one.

2) Very relaxing to play just like ETS2

3) Good challenging parking spots

4) Mod support

5) The police sound are very cool

6) Weight stations and now xray machines

7) Good trailers in the early game and many other unlock through out the game.

8) You can turn right on a red light

9) You now have a good choice of standard trucks to drive.

So as you can see the pro's way out do the cons. I would recommend this game and you will loose many hours to it.

The game is good but buy it on steam DO NOT BUY A KEY OFF A SITE LIKE G2A.

Air Conflicts: Secret Wars a nice game but a bit out dated

Euro truck simulator 2. Its very good truck simulator. Its a very good balance between sim and arcade. This game come a very long way in the last 9 years or so. I do wish that changes where made to the job market so that there was alot more jobs you could pick from to alot more places. Overall SCS software well done your an amazing company.
