Im playing with myself and my elderly mother on a official pve server. Its just us two. Our main town was destroyed by a invasion without us even knowing it was happening. The town was destroyed our portal was destroyed and our tribesmen were killed. This is the opposite of fun. The game is a slog and there wasnt really any notice that most of our hard work for the past month+ was being destroyed. It was a big middle finger to us. This game blows and the developers are to blame. Cant recommend this game to anyone.

Act 3 is so bad and its half the game. Game also caters to redditors

Dont sleep on this game. Its very simple and addictive.

One of my top favorite games. People dislike it because its take alot of skill and timming but when you get kill streaks its a thrill.

-graphics are charming for a 2d pixel game.
-good music.
-tons of crafting.
-universe is huge and the mobs are procedurly generated so you will encounter new mobs on most planets you explore.
-lots a new concepts like the starmap , player mechs , player spacestations.
-this game supports mods and its been a blast making my own animations and replacing the sprites with my own designs!!!!!

what needs work.
-the mobs AI is very basic and all the mobs fight in the same way (other then boss fights).
-you can complete the game without building on planets (you can build crafting stations on your ship which means you -can just harvest planets very quickly without developing a base on them).
-you can buy ores from vendors which means you dont have to dig (which sucks because the planets are spherical and if you dig/climb you can surface the other side of the world) also there are undeground structures to explore/fight but you might not even notice them.
-the weapons are procedurly generated which sounds cool but it takes away any feeling of progression (compared to terraria).

If any devs are looking at this please develop the AI for the mobs. this is my # 1 complant of the game.
Add random events like nightly raids, and give mobs the ability to break down doors.

Sprites are compresed as to not allow editing of graphics for heros (playable characters) as well as NPC characters. Do not buy this game if you want to create your own characters. The game reminds be of random destruction on minecraft servers.
