This is a game I've waited a long time to play. But I'm happy to say that Tavern Keeper is an utterly wonderful experience. Seriously, the level of quality in this release is outstanding. The number of small, carefully thought out details is lovely. And the overall presentation (with the music, sounds, narration, story, visuals) all comes together perfectly.

I can see why this took a decade plus, as all that effort shows in what the team has made here. If you think this is the sort of game you might like, then I can't recommend you try it enough. And with it just releasing in early access, things will no doubt only be getting better from here.

Core Keeper has easily become one of the best survival crafting sandbox games I've had the pleasure to play. It's taken ideas from the greats like Minecraft, Stardew Valley and most of all Terraria, and innovated on the genre in so many ways.

If you enjoyed any of these games, I'd say you'd be mad not to try Core Keeper given its price. As I doubt you'll be disappointed by what you find, especially when played with friends.
