Minimalist city builder at a great price!
Really shouldn't think too much while playing this game but I obsess a little too much about optimizing what little interactions each buildings have with each other laskdfjlasdf

Best VR rhythm game out there

My spell deck got countered so hard by a boss that ate my spell cards wtf

Maybe like a 6/10 game for me, meaning, slightly above average.

Pros
-Obviously inspired by Vamp Survivors so if you like that genre, this game is for you
-Sense of progression with upgrades, character & weapon unlocks, area unlocks, etc
-Upgrades & guns are fun and interesting, mostly the guns I think
-You get to choose where to shoot your primary weapon, or you can select an auto aim with a spacebar toggle. The fact that this is an option was a nice touch that I appreciated.

Cons
-While the limited color palette can appear clean for the art style, it's actually very detrimental as well. The player character, some of the projectiles, the level up orbs, and the enemies can be very similar in color and it is such an eye sore. It's my major complaint and I feel like I end up dying 90% of the time because I'm unable to distinguish between my player model, the enemies, and the millions of level up orbs that are on the ground, especially when I have lots of speed upgrades and there are projectiles ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ everywhere. The game does offer to provide white outlines on enemies... but I think I'd rather prefer if the enemies were a different color all together.

I've always thought this game was boring af. Why do I move like molasses when I'm trying to run from a paranormal being? Are they grabbing on to my ass? Items are glitchy. The only reason this game is remotely fun because the people you play it with make it so.

Also, the dev team support racist, rude, and sexual harassment (revenge porn) behavior among themselves in their Discord. Absolutely disgusting.

Play with good friends or else risk developing mental disorders from all the toxicity in the community

I love the art!! And the gameplay is really interesting, I haven't seen anything like this before. It can seem a little confusing at first, but I think it's pretty intuitive. Sound design is also super peaceful and all the birds have their song calls in the game - how cool is that? I did notice some visual bugs here and there, but otherwise, it's a pretty neat game.

Super fun and addictive!
