First, I want to say this is an RPG first, and a space exploration game second. While there is space combat, ship building, and planet and space station exploration, you are not completely free to travel in the same way you are in games like star citizen and no mans sky. You will rely on fast travel a lot, which the game disguises as grav jumping.

That being said, this game has some of Bethesda's best environments, dialogue, and gameplay to date. Visually, the game is stunning. You will find yourself on a random planet taking in the breathtaking atmosphere. Sound design is very good as well. All of the weapons, ship sounds, ambient noises all sound very punchy. You can really *feel* some of these sounds. The music is kind of disappointing. My favorite series is Fallout, and Fallout's sound track is a beautiful metaphor of what it means and potentially sounds like to live in a wasteland. TESV: Skyrim's music is widely considered to be some of the best in the industry, with people listening to the soundtrack on repeat daily. Starfield unfortunately relies heavily on an orchestral type of OST, which is not awful, but leaves a lot to be desired. Surely there could have been a lot of techno-retro sounds they could have pulled from, but for some reason they decided against it. This does not take away from the game really, just a little nitpick I had as a long time fan of Bethesda's games.

In conclusion, if you are looking for a fun Bethesda style rpg that just so happens to take place in space, I really don't think you will be disappointed. If you are looking for a space game that happens to be a Bethesda title, I think you will be disappointed.

You ever just start to play a game and can just tell its a piece of ♥♥♥♥? Well, for me thats Generation Zero. No matter how good the trailers look, its not.

I have a super gaming computer, but due to being busy and on the move, I decided to play this game on the Steam Deck. This game ran SO AMAZING on the steam deck. The team killed it on the gameplay, story, atmosphere and everything else. Highly highly recommend, especially if you're into Harry Potter.

It's a fun little zombie game. I wouldn't play it if you're looking for super detailed intricacies though. The graphics are superb and the game felt very optimized to me. Unfortunately, this game does not really fit my interests at this point in my life, but I can definitely see appeal for anyone who wants a really good zombie game.

I think it's about time I reviewed this game. This game is a HUGE sandbox ripe for gun nuts and amateurs alike. I genuinely believe that everyone should play this game at least once. It shows how tons and tons of guns operate and you can then transfer that knowledge in real life. Obviously before you handle a firearm in real life you should know basic proper safety for said firearm, but in this game you can basically test any gun out if you are curious as to how it works. Not only is this game an amazing sandbox but it also has a growing competitive scene for a game mode called "Take and Hold". This game mode gives the player a specific weapon to use as they go around a map and take specific zones from enemies and are then given the task to defend their position while they are pursued by enemies. This game mode encompasses a leaderboard that is updated in real time and is wiped when updates release so player will constantly have to adapt and develop new strategies to help them reach victory. Long story short this game is a beauty and I will always hold it in high praise. If you are new to VR and were/ are on the fence for buying this.. please do, I can guarantee that you will not regret it.

As someone who's very experienced with VR games, games like this usually don't go on my "return to often" list. However, whenever anyone one of my IRL friends (who have never played VR) want to play VR, I will 9/10 times start them with this game. It is very straightforward with how to play. The game is very much a "easy to learn and hard to master" type of game. Absolutely recommend for veterans and newcomers alike.
