Honestly, this game turned around BIG TIME. Its crazy how this went from genuinely one of the worst games of all time into one of the more enjoyable ones within just a couple years. Its important to remember how this game launched so we stop supporting and pre ordering completely broken crap, but we can still respect how far this game has come and enjoy it for what it is today.

Game was a little jank but i enjoyed it. Good for the price

Many people dislike the remaster because there is some issues in the original game that are still present in this game. However, the game is now pushed to 60 FPS, plays great on almost any device, and honestly in my opinion still has the best lore in the series. Could it have been better? Absolutely. Does that make it bad? No, far from it. This one is a must play.

This game is pretty solid, nothing amazing but I definitely wouldn't say it's bad. Its a retelling of basically the entirety of Dragon Ball Z from start to finish where you play as multiple characters across all of the arcs. The game features a semi open world with different "realms" that give the illusion you are in an open world. You are usually pretty free to explore these whenever you'd like but sometimes the game will prevent you from exploring and force you to continue the story. There is a LOT of fan service in this game. It features a very much appreciated, but albeit lengthy encyclopedia that has basically every piece of DBZ lore in it. The combat is very similar to how Xenoverse feels, which isnt a bad thing considering the combat in that game is very solid. The battles you will encounter while doing the main story are very nice but they will include a lot of gimmicks to prevent you from just consistently doing combos and whaling on the opponent which I'm not huge on but it really isnt that bad. The sound design is beautiful. Almost every action you do sounds exactly like how it was in the show, from teleporting to flying to firing energy beams, they all sound wonderful. The game is also very colorful and pleasant to look at. Overall, a very enjoyable dbz game if you would like to play through a retelling of the main story.

An absolute masterpiece of an experience, even after Elden Ring was released.

I went on a journey to play many of the souls games after playing Elden Ring so I could go back and see all the strives of progress to see where Fromsoft got to today. Dark Souls 3 was probably my favorite experience out of the journey followed extremely close by DS1.

DS3 is on paper pretty open but most of it is level based and all of the levels are tailor made to fit what your character level should be around. There is very few times where you will be in an area and you will think "i'm over-leveled" or "I'm under-leveled". This makes the experience feel like an ever growing journey where you get stronger but so do your foes as you get closer and closer to your goal.

The bosses in this game are some of the hardest in the series, but also some of the most fun and most fair. The environments you will fight them in are the most creative in the series and are extremely memorable. I think even if you played Elden Ring, you should give DS3 a chance, you won't be disappointed.

I can not stop playing this game. For those that may get this reference, its not a cheap knock off... Its the upgrade.
