Ying to the Yang of Final Fantasy series

While the Final Fantasy has somewhat steered into the direction of Western open world RPGS with action RPG elements, the Legend of Heroes series has stayed faithful to the traditional JRPG formula with a heavy focus on story telling.

Cold Steel I is a very good opener to the Cold Steel series with many intriuging plot twists along the way that will eventually set the tone for Cold Steel II, It is benefical to have played the Trails in the Sky series before playing this as there are many references to that series in this game but it is not vital and can function standalone from the Sky series.

Pay no attention to the somewhat outdated graphics, graphics is not everything in a game as you should very well know and this is a great purchase if you like RPGs with a heavy focus on good story telling.
