Based Banned Caves of Qud review

Foreword:
This is a game with an abundance of text, some written and much of it generated by computer code.

This is mentioned because players will have to have an enthusiasm for the written word, an enjoyment for reading. Now, according to preferred playstyles, the amount of reading can be minimal, following along with the necessary input and output that forms the basis of a 2d roguelike; or, the amount of reading can be quite extensive if one wishes to delve deep into the lore that is flush throughout the game, down to easily overlooked details. As part of this foreword, it is necessary to state without any ambiguity the Leftism inherent throughout the game. It poses real risk and danger to children, and those who, as befits Lestists, have not thoroughly tested their thoughts against the constant presence of reality: they don't know themselves and yet fear to lose something that was never theirs. According to one's pleasure in reading, this game provides much, and it is prudent to know about Leftists -

Caves of Qud is practically a psychological breakdown of the Leftist mind, a real confessional - but it is of much benefit to read books from Julius Evola and the manifesto of Theodore Kazscynski in which one can receive a proper orientation and reach a confidence to attain to the task of realization that is life, and furthermore using what one learns as defense against the confused promiscuity found throughout the game of not-so subtle references to magic, esoteric mysteries, and, of course, the egalitarian myth.

Perhaps I must reedit this review multiple times as I discover more praise for the game, but as yet I have a few factors to address below.

Visuals:
It benefits the young and the old delver to have a computer monitor of quite a large resolution, as the user interface can be extraordinarily pleasing to look at if one has the space on the screen to maneuver facets of the ui into the best possible positions to maximize the excellence of aesthetic.

Smaller resolutions suffer from having less options, and so less visual appeal. Now, no matter who is playing on what hardware, it's likely high probability that something close to those so-called Jung-Meyers personality types in the introverted-sensing category plays a large role in the appreciation for the game. The game is absolutely voluptuous, and beautiful, and ugly, and everything fades away to yet bring forth another day.

Controls:
I purchased Caves of Qud at least five years ago and had set it down not to play it until the convening time about which this review is written. I've yet to scratch the surface, quite literally. If I were to write a review for Dwarf Fortress, I would have to make mention of CoQ, just as I mention DF in this review, and yet it must be more than a decade since I have played DF so I don't have a review for that. Those two games are great companions, and familiarity with one is to know the other.
