hey VH, if you've got the PC setup then the game is peak.
I haven't played the previous borderlands so this is my first one but its mega peak and I love it
would definitely recommend this game.

Edit: this is an update to my review before tackling any endgame content (I had the game on recommended). upon experiencing the many frustrations that have come to me during my time in Ultimate Vault hunter mode difficulty I have decided not to recommend this game due to some issues I've gone through which have frustrated me.

1. "Rush the gate" wildcard mission, upon reaching the end of the mission I found myself stuck "in" the elevator with absolutely no way to kill myself except quitting. To my surprise quitting to main menu in hopes it would "unstuck" me forces you out of the mission completely meaning you'd have to repeat everything you just did.

2. "His vile sanctum" wildcard mission, somewhere halfway through the mission where it involves teleporting through this dimension (purple portal like thing that you go through), I found myself still teleporting there for 10+ minutes forcing me to quit AGAIN and replay the mission, extremely frustrating and not tolerable.

3. More often than not there are times where I'm simply unable to see the enemy's HUD for several seconds, I'd say 6-7 seconds
at best this is extremely frustrating and annoying, I'm surprise this has not been patched yet.

4. I completely do not understand why when I play on fullscreen I'm sitting on 110 fps, however when I switch to windowed fullscreen back to fullscreen I magically get an extra 30+ fps putting me at 130. Its extremely annoying to have to do this EVERY time I play the game.

5. This is quite a rare one but today was the second time to happen to me, its when enemies spawn under the ground. Please for the love of god ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fix this? 9 times out of 10 its the reason I'm unable to progress and I'm forced to quit to main menu so that the issue can be sorted.

6. This one is also another rare one but there are times where the quest itself bugs and does not advance despite having done what the quest has ordered you to, to give you an example there are times where when the quest asks you to "talk" or "flip" a switch and you go do it you would expect the quest to flash in blue indicating you finished the step, however in my case it just stays incomplete forcing me to quit to main menu once again and retrying that step. Of course when I relog back in and try that step again the quest advances with no problems.


for a game that costs around 60 euros this is completely unacceptable, A couple of days ago I had the game on recommended but until ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ issues like these get fixed its going to get a thumbs down for me. DO BETTER.

A truly horrifying experience, I'd very much recommend not passing a masterpiece of a game like this. The world building perfectly encapsulates the emotions of "Guilt" "Sorrow" "Fear" and "Horror" enough for it to be "Silent hill". James, a truly remorseful character that you go on a journey with in hopes of finding what it is he is trying to find. As someone who has enjoyed the resident evil series this has definitely been quite the experience and I'd recommend it to anyone else who hasn't given this a shot.

Game is a masterpiece. I can find no problems with the game whatsoever, if resident evil and silent hill ever had a child then this would be it. Story is mind blowing however if you've of a slow mind like me you may get a bit lost in the story as it may get a bit confusing here and there, but again that may be just me. The game is a must play and I can assure you that you will not regret it!

it may just be me but I found this game extremely boring, it was my friend that got me to get this game and honestly while the game sounded promising it did not deliver at all sadly, it felt like one of those common games where your objective is to "gather" items and to essentially avoid the monster. The sound detection idea was definitely a creative one and kind of reminds me of the game 'Silence' where every sound you make could cost you your life, except with this game...you can literally outrun the killer and well 15 minutes into the game I have gotten used to just holding shift 24/7 outrunning the killer and essentially grabbing objective items. I have not completed the entire game since I called it off with my friend on the second stage due to how boring it has become, your generic look for items and avoid the killer kind of game, maybe the game gets better from the second stage beyond I wouldn't know but they've lost me by the second stage. For its price its definitely worth what it gives but this game may or not be for everyone.
