Hi! I'm General Red. I'm a Software Engineer and Indie Game Developer. I've loved video games every since I was a toddler and that hasn't slowed down a bit. I also love reading, watching movies, writing, and exploring work by independent artists. I am a huge fan of the cyberpunk genre, you'll often catch me playing games, reading books, or watching movies that are influenced by it.

SAEKO：女巨人恋爱模拟

Wow, I don't even know where to start with this one. I picked this up on a whim as it was recommended by Dominic Tarason. The artstyle and music struck out to me in particular but I also vaguely recalled some positive reviews of the demo a while back. That said, I don't think I could have ever expected what this game would provide.

I haven't felt such a strong and mixed swirl of emotions from a game like this a long time. That's about as amazing of feedback a psychological horror can receive, and SAEKO deserves all of it. The gameplay is uniquely terrifying. The music and art really drives the experience forward too. The writing can tend to read like doujinshi at times, but that's par for the course in visual novels.

Overall, SAEKO was entirely worth the experience. This is art. Safe Havn has a bright future ahead of them (and I absolutely love that the name is based on a Garoad song from VA-11 Hall-A)
