I swear I'm going to develop PTSD when I hear the word "Stars"

It's an actual crime that so much content of this game was cut in the remake, the original is very non linear and difficult and has an immaculate vibe with its pre-rendered backgrounds. its a banger of a game.

What can you say? Just like the original RE 1 and 2, Nemesis is a classic and quintessential survival-horror genre highlight. It looks marginally better than the previous games, but on the other hand it has only one character arc instead of two (not counting that small interlude where you play as Carlos for about half an hour towards the end of the game), straight up recycles some leveldesign from Resident Evil 2 during it's first couple hours and literally gives no two sh*ts about significantly innovating the gameplay, which indeed makes Nemesis start to feel a bit stale and lazy compared to it's two predecessors.
All of this results in the third part of the classic RE trilogy being my somewhat least favourite, nevertheless it's ridiculous how fun and iconic this game still is 27 years after it's initial release. If you're even slightly interested in the survival-horror genre and/or trashy zombie stories, skipping this game would basically be a capital crime.

( ) 0/8 Simply one of the worst games ever made. Don't waste any money on this.
( ) 1/8 Bad. Seriously flawed with barely any redeeming qualities. Worth a couple of Cents at best, if at all.
( ) 2/8 Sub-par. Only for hardcore-fans of respective genre / series. Don't pay more than 5 bucks.
( ) 3/8 Meh-diocre. It‘s okay. Don't pay more than 10 bucks.
( ) 4/8 Decent, but not for everybody. Don't pay more than 15 bucks.
( ) 5/8 Good game, Must-play for genre- / series-fans. Worth 20 to 25 bucks max, if you are not a fan.
(X) 6/8 Great game, universal recommendation. 30 bucks would be a steal for this.
( ) 7/8 Outstanding game, a milestone of it‘s respective genre. Definitely worth its full prize.
( ) 8/8 Simply one of the best games ever made. Get this, the prize doesn't matter.

Ts is so much better than the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ remake.
