You can install the Sith Lords Restored Content Mod and you'll still get achievements. I can confirm this as I have the former and I'm getting the latter. One thing tho: it doesn't include the droid planet M4. That's a separate mod. I only half recommend that addition because it can get very tedious, at least where puzzles are concerned. However if you really want to, there's a combo package of both mods. Installing the M4 mod alone is (evidently) not recommended.
