I'm a PvP main and PvP in this game has been getting worse and worse. The netcode is pretty bad and snapshotting can lead to nonsensical game states.

That aside, they keep buffing damage so the time to kill in pvp is very fast. Combined with the bad netcode, it makes for a rather frustrating experience where you are respawning more than you are fighting. For a game with such bad netcode, you would think they would go for a longer time to kill so it does not rely only on ping or snapshotting.

Basically, you dive in, get one or two pokes in, and have to immediately evacuate the area or you will be dead. There's not enough sustain or defensives to fight through it like there is in other MMOs, which to me just isn't very fun.

This is by design, the high level play is poke poke retreat.

They need to fix the netcode and make PvP more of an engagement rather than a poke and retreat. There isn't even enough time to get your irl adenaline going before you either retreat or die. Very underwhelming.

I'm not a survival game player, but I had the game for 2 days and played for 24 hours so far.
By the time you read this, that number will certainly have gone up.

Fun game, even better after the 10 update. I like that there's more proper avatars now.

Very fun, cute, and relaxing game. Would like mouse controls though.

Pretty good game for early access.

However, it softlocks a lot, a lot lot, I get a softlock at least once an hour due to the UI problems. Also having issues with keeping cloud sync in sync with multiple devices.

I have both the PC and Switch versions, they both softlock at the same rate, but the Switch performance is pretty bad. I wouldn't recommend the Switch version in its current state.

Other than that, good graphics and I think these bugs will be fixed for release, so I'm hoping that happens. I've enjoyed the chill nature of the game, the music, the story, etc. Spent many hours in it so far.

Picked up the game with the NEXT expansion/patch. Really enjoying it so far. Great, engaging game, and wonderful graphics. Major props to the devs for keeping optimistic and turning it around.

A few bugs to work out still (Important to note some are critical, like corrupting game files) but I was able to fix a save of mine that got corrupted by hand. I'm optimistic for the continued development and improvement of this game.
