A retro game that plays just like metroid, It shares the same gameplay basics, as in explore+find weapons. It's visually stunning, with excellent 2d sprites and artwork. The music is great with 3 options of soundtrack, that range from a nes feeling to a heavily remastered versions. Gameplay wise, I don't like the upgrade system, where you need to collect "golden pyramids" that drop from fallen enemies. Later on the game gets a little more frantic, and getting hit makes you lose some precious firepower.
