You may be thinking, "How good could these games be if they were on the GBA?"

These are some of the best games in the series, and you're doing yourself a disservice by not playing them.

Do I like the way Blizzard promised the players so many things while delivering on none of them? Nah, not really.

This game scratches itches long lost to time.

Do you have an addictive personality?

If the answer is no, this game is a great time. Straight up numbers porn.

If the answer is yes, play it anyway.

Okay, so, Morrowind is kinda weird.

It's a strange stopping point between the complete immersion of Daggerfall, and the accessibility of Oblivion. Attacks are still down to a dice roll (whether or not you seem to make physical contact), and moving at anything more than a crawl uses stamina. But, like, YOU try jogging everywhere. It's tiring.

But the story in Morrowind is really what you come for. It's spectacular, and also a lot of the reason the Elder Scrolls series is as well known as it is now (along with the fact that this was the first one released on consoles).

If you haven't played Morrowind, do it. But not without at least some basic mods to bring it up to a decent resolution. They're easy enough to install, and you'll thank yourself for it.

I really don't feel like this game deserved all of the backlash it received on release. I had a pretty good time in all three types of stages. A good little romp.

If you need a puzzle game to play windowed while you watch YouTube or whatever. On the downside, I peed four times and pooped once within about two hours of playing it, so your mileage may vary.
