I get lost so much

I really do love this game.I love how they just drop you into the game and say: "Have at it. Go any way you want, I don't care, I really don't. There is no order really, you just play. I had this on ps4 and I gave up but i recently got on it steam deck and I think I'm almost done with the game. Love it so much, even though it's hard. It makes me feel like my brain still works and it's not slowly descending into madness.

Look at all those HOURS. It is 100% me, an adult, (and not at all a child/s) that is playing! Yes. So much. The fun. Hours of it.

I was really excited to play this game even with the snes rpg graphics. I thought I'd be able to look past it but sadly, I couldn't. That is why I cannot recommend this game. That game itself is good. I liked the voices and the stories but I felt no connection to the characters. Maybe it was because you HEAR the emotion in their voices but you are still looking at pixels with little to no emotion.
I'm sure if you can look past that the game would be as awesome as it is said to be. Sadly I could not, so I stopped playing only 7 hours in.

I have only played this on Steam deck and the only issues I've had with it is that when I first started it, I had to change the resolution. After I did that and had it fit the screen, everything was fine. There was another issue I had when I went into settings for some reason I cannot remember and was not able to leave. I can't elaborate on that because, for the life of me, I cannot remember wtf I was even doing.

But onto the game: Yes, I do love it. I love it more than I love Rune Factory games. The story plays out well with the seasons changing and you never have to worry about time while doing the main story quests. I even think I did the main story in the wrong order with two quests and nothing really happened.

I haven't gotten to the marriage part yet, so I won't comment on that part yet.

Did I let the vampire bite me? Yes. Did I let him bite me again at my request? Also yes.
This game is hard! I don't know what I'm doing because I didn't pay attention to the tutorials. I have a dog now. His name is Scratch. I hate that name. I would have named him Moonshine. There is a worm in my eye which I stupidly let someone pull out of me and now have to use a glass eye that somehow lets me see invisibility. He only removed my eye though, not the worm, I still have that in my brain. I didn't ask him to remove my eye and I guess that's what I get for letting someone shove an icepick into my eye. I should really stop allowing people to stick things inside me. You'd think after having 3 children I'd have learned my lesson.

I also spent over an hour picking out my character's genitals, but that's neither here nor there.

This game isn't that great. I found it pretty boring for an otome and that's saying a lot coming from someone who once spent 4.99 on a mobile otome just to get the voices in English for ONE of my husbands.

I really am not into MMO rpgs but this one is pretty chill. I can't remember the main story because I stopped playing for a year and only renewed my subscription because I was bored. I don't think paying for this monthly is worth it but, I will only do so if I know I want to play every day for a month.

All that being said, again, the game is chill. You can do your tasks, level up, do more task, realize you're level 15 and that it's time you finished that level 10 main quest. Do I have any idea what's going on and if I'm even playing right? NO. Does that matter? Doubt.

But I have to be doing something right because I am leveling up and I'm not dying.

Yes i am going to recommend this game mainly because it hit my nostalgia. Though I doubt they could return us to the DS gameplay of the original, this game had decent gameplay. The story is pretty funny and I've had few laughs so far.
I remember playing the original TWEWY back when it first game out and how I fell in love with each character. So far, I dont have an attachment to any of them. I like Fret. Sho was nice to see again. I wonder who else I'll see from the original.
