I put the amount of effort in this review as funcom did with this dlc.

There is a color swapped transmog armor set sold to you in this "dlc". You can get the same set as a transmog set just with a different default color.

Borderlands 4: A First Hour of Mixed Signals and Technical Woes

My initial jump into Borderlands 4 has been a rather bumpy ride, leaving me with a sense of disappointment rather than the excitement I'd hoped for.

Performance: Barely Passing, Even on High-End Hardware
The performance of Borderlands 4 is to put it mildly, underwhelming. Even with a High end PC setup with an RTX 4090, 64GB of DDR4 RAM, lightning-fast SSDs, and an Intel Core i7 13700K the game merely achieves a passable state. This raises serious concerns about how the game will perform on systems that aren't pushing the absolute cutting edge. To add insult to injury my very first experience with the game involved an immediate unceremonious crash upon launch, setting a expectation for what's to come

Visuals: A Tale of Two Textures
Graphically Borderlands 4 presents a rather inconsistent picture. While the character and weapon models boast the series signature charm and detail, the environmental textures particularly the ground beneath your feet are surprisingly low-resolution. At the highest settings. This disconnect can pull you right out.

Narrative & Writing: A Cringe-Worthy Start
The writing in the opening hour was a disaster. I found myself battling waves of cringe and boredom, which is a shame. The narrative felt uninspired and even basic elements like the naming of certain Characters like "Timekeeper" felt disappointingly bland and unmemorable.
What a stupid name.

Gameplay: A Glimpse of Fatigue
Even within the first hour of gameplay a sense of fatigue began to set in. The core gameplay loop while familiar, felt like it offered little new to discover. This is of course a subjective observation based on limited playtime and a potentially harsh personal perspective but it's a feeling that lingered.

Overall Impression: A Sad State
Ultimately my first hour with Borderlands 4 has been sad. I had genuinely hoped for a strong "return to form" as the Journalists like to say but the current state of performance, mixed visuals, and uninspired writing has left me wanting much more. It's a disappointing start for what could have been... just sad.

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers - Review Platform: High End PC
----------------------------------------------------

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a Soulslike that's heavily inspired by Dark Souls and Demon's Souls – and that's its biggest strength! It's a near-perfect adventure that captivated me, not just with its gameplay and level design, but also with its beautiful and its on point storytelling. Let's explore why I've fallen in love with Wuchang.

First up: the gameplay. As a Soulslike, combat is king. It's clunky, yes, just like the OG Dark Souls games, but that's part of its charm! You'll need to learn its rhythm. Beyond the basics, there are unique skills for each weapon, and an extra button for blocking or special attacks. My only minor critique? Sometimes, our character feels a bit static during attacks, leading to some frustrating misses. But that's a small issue compared to the overall experience. And let's not forget the magic spells! They look amazing and hit hard.

Fallen Feathers introduces a "Madness" system – a corruption meter for our protagonist. Killing humans increases madness, while killing monsters decreases it. You can also manipulate it with items. Why raise it? It unlocks special abilities and boosts damage (at the cost of increased damage taken). Dying with high madness spawns a powerful demon that drops your level-up points and attacks anything nearby. Clever!

The level design is another triumph. Everything is interconnected, reminiscent of Dark Souls 1, filled with secrets and multiple paths. My only complaint is the infrequent checkpoints – dying can be brutally punishing, especially in areas inspired by Demon's Souls' difficulty. But hey, the world itself is gorgeous!

Now, let's talk bosses. Initially, I wasn't impressed, but I soon discovered that each boss has a significant weakness, similar to Demon's Souls. Exploit that weakness, and victory comes easily. Fallen Feathers is full of hidden mechanics that make combat easier and incredibly satisfying to discover.

The storytelling is a masterpiece. It unfolds subtly, revealing its emotional depth upon multiple playthroughs. Some things only click when you understand the bigger picture. But the emotional impact is undeniable. It's more moving than I anticipated.

And then there's the soundtrack! It's epic and beautiful. I listen to it on repeat. Seriously it's that good.

Finally, let's address the elephant in the room: performance. It wasn't great at launch, but it's improved significantly. While not perfect, I'm confident it will be fully polished soon.

Despite some minor issues, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is one of the best games of the year, easily. I wholeheartedly recommend it. I can't wait to see what the developers do next. Maybe a DLC? Fingers crossed!

So, there you have it! My heartfelt review of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Update:

The Performance is getting better and better! BUT there is a new issue. Some story stuff got censored and altered where some things lose meaning. Who knows why they did it but I assume it's because (REDACTED)

Dune Awakening Review
----------------------

Today, we're diving into the sands of Arrakis to review Dune: Awakening, a few weeks after its launch. And I'm going to explain why this is an awesome game... that I can't recommend at the moment.

The game is always online, which... isn't my favorite thing. I'd really love for this to get a single-player option, like Conan Exiles.

And that brings me to the biggest issue Dune: Awakening faced at launch: the private servers. I bought the Ultimate Edition to play early on the 5th, but playing on private servers was impossible. I wanted to play solo, and I got a private server to do so. The private servers had issues that extended past launch day. I was able to play on the 11th without any problems, but then a new problem came up that made the game unplayable for another two days!

Other than that, I'm still experiencing insane frame drops. I'm talking, even with a 4090, it's so bad that the game freezes for two seconds, mostly in PvP areas, outposts, and caves. And no, my PC isn't the problem. It's the game. It's unacceptable and needs to be addressed ASAP. Oh, and before I forget, FPS drops also occur while driving or flying around too fast. My SSD is pretty good; Assassin's Creed Shadows boots up in a second, so... what?

The actual game is really good and bad. It's grindy as ♥♥♥♥ as a solo player, but that can be addressed in the future, which it better is. Like the devs making a big portion of the Deep Desert a PvE area, which is great! Meaning you don't have forced PvP in the endgame anymore. Which seems nice at first but having a random rock structures suddenly be flagged as pvp isn't really making it better, it's not really obvious what's pvp besides the big ships of course. There needs to be some indicator on the map like a red circle around those.

The game has a story, and it's a mixed bag. The Fremen questline is a bit like Fallout 76's holotape quests, but it works here because it's not just that. I don't want to spoil anything because the story has some really cool moments that need to be experienced firsthand! But that brings me to the 2nd part of the Story. And that's where things get really interesting, the Game kind of transforms itself into an Assassins Creed Game with a lot of cool missions that I thought to be amazing. When you reach the End of the 2nd Act however... the Story just ends. No conclusion no nothing! What the Hell?! are you serious? Is the 3rd Act going to be one of the paid Story Dlc's? it better not be paid. I warn you. We know the Game isn't done and it shows. So don't you dare.

What about the gunplay and combat? Well, the AI is pretty stupid, just running straight at you, which you can take advantage of by confusing them. I went into a high-gear, high-level dungeon with my first upgraded gear, from Copper to Iron, and I cleared it. I got the Native Stillsuit transmog, which means the AI is really stupid. I should have died in there. A few improvements, like flanking and not just walking toward you or sometimes past you, would be appreciated, but it's still a lot of fun. The weapons are easy to handle, and everything has a feeling of impact. Even melee is great, but that brings me back to the AI... I just wait for them to hit me so I can parry them. Make of that what you will. The enemies in the Deep Desert provide more of a challenge though, even if it's in a way that I despise. same AI just a giant health bar and a high damage output that's it.

Now, the game also has mining, which works with a laser, and I just love the sounds of it. Extremely satisfying. But there's not much else to say about that. It's just mining. Harvesting water from plants or taking the blood from your enemies to transform it into water. Getting Spice is the Endgame by the way which is fine and terrible at the same time but the system itself is good.

The PvE-focused map is huge! With so many different things to discover, it's just insane. That a sand map is interesting to walk and play in just shows you how talented the devs are. Really good job on that. But that worm... that is terrifying. I saw it flying once... that was something. oh well.

Which brings me to that ♥♥♥♥♥, the Sandworm. It's scary and very dangerous. If you die to either the Worm or a Sandstorm, you lose everything you have: armor, weapons, everything you carry. I haven't died to that yet, and if I did, I'd probably stop playing, which might be an issue, but only the actual data can tell if it is or not.

Now, the game has a character creator, which is pretty good, crisp and responsive sound design, and what not. The game's graphics are good, and really good for an MMO. The game actually looks like the footage from the trailer's isn't that right Crimson Desert?

Dune also has a kind of class system where you can be like me and use the grappling hook so much that you don't want to stop using it. The Classes vary but you aren't locked to a specific one. You can unlock all of them and use them. You can mix and match all abilities for your slots from every class if you have it. And just as a tip, don't pick trooper as your starting class, you can unlock that one in the starting area.

Now there is one more thing I want to talk about, The Endgame... it sucks. One of the worst Endgames I've ever seen. Getting the highest tier of gear as a Solo player is so expensive in resources and not only that, trying to get these resources for crafting is a pain. There is like one note every five minutes which give you like nothing and you need two different once to craft the highest ingot. once you have that you need to farm spice which takes a while as a Solo player. And with a while I mean... trying to get all of the highest tier of crafting stations takes 33.5 hours of nonstop crafting, and that's only the spice I just mentioned. And no it doesn't include any weapons or armor pieces. just the crafting stations. I refuse to do that. No I'm not subjecting myself to 200 hours of torture. No thanks.

But why am I not recommending it right now? It's very simple: the game's technical state is terrible. Frames are all over the place, and sometimes... it's unplayable, the Endgame sucks and the Story just stops it's just not ready for the masses. And I'd say that it feels like an Early Access. So give it a while. The story and technical state might look different in six months, but until then, hold off for now.

I will Update this review when things improve and change. Thank you for reading.

A First Look at Avowed - The Good, The Bad, and The Garrus
----------------------------------------------------------

Hey everyone! Today, we're taking a deep dive into Avowed, Obsidian's latest RPG that's got everyone talking. Is it a masterpiece? A dud? Well, I'm TwoChack, and I'm here to break it all down for you.

What's Avowed All About?

Avowed throws you into a semi-open world RPG where your choices don't really matter, and secrets lurk around every corner. Think hidden loot, not so mind-bending puzzles, and a world brimming with barely any consequences for your actions.

The Good Stuff:

A World That Captivates:

The world design is a major win! It's got that familiar Obsidian feel, reminiscent of The Outer Worlds, with distinct open areas, each with its own unique theme and personality. We're talking five different regions, each with its own town and atmosphere. You'll be constantly discovering hidden treasures, secret pathways, and even hidden walls! (Dark Souls fans, say hello!) The way these open areas are structured makes exploration feel rewarding and keeps you hooked.

Creative Problem-Solving:

Stuck behind a wall of water? No problem! Freeze it with a cold spell. Vines blocking your path? Burn them with your companion's abilities or your own fiery magic. Broken wall in your way? Blast it open! Obsidian clearly drew inspiration from the Arkham series, and it's a welcome addition.

Easy to Navigate:

The inventory and skill tabs are incredibly user-friendly, making it a breeze to understand everything. And speaking of understanding, I love the inclusion of a lore book in the dialogue system. It helps you grasp the world and its characters much better.

Combat That's Solid, Not Spectacular:

The combat is a bit of a middle ground. It's simple and easy to pick up, but it's also effective and fun. The ability to wield a gun and sword simultaneously is a nice touch. Don't expect anything groundbreaking, though.

Garrus Returns! One of my favorite things about Avowed? Hearing Garrus's voice again! That voice acting is pure gold!

Alright, let's get into the less-than-stellar aspects of Avowed. It's not all sunshine and roses, folks.

The Shadows Lurking in Avowed

While the game has some strong points, there are some areas where Avowed falls short.

Story That Takes a Nosedive:

The story starts off promisingly, with the first two chapters holding your attention. However, it takes a sharp turn for the worse in chapter three. It feels like the writing team switched gears, and the quality of the quests and overall narrative drops significantly. I won't spoil anything, but the decision you have to make at the end of chapter three is mind-bogglingly bad. Even Rum couldn't save it!

Character Design Deja Vu:

The character design in Avowed feels like a recycled version of Concord, with only a couple of outfits and one character standing out. It's a baffling choice, especially considering the game's emphasis on customization. Why repeat the same mistakes?

Character Creator Needs More Love:

The character creator is a bit barebones and basic for my taste. It lacks the depth and customization options you'd expect from a game of this caliber.

Where's My Headgear?

This one really grinds my gears. The game repeatedly mentions headgear and masks, but you can't actually wear them! Why even mention them if they're not an option? It feels like a missed opportunity.

Difficulty Scaling That's All Over the Place:

The hardest difficulty feels like a straight-up "Veilguard" experience, where you have practically no health, and even basic enemies hit like bosses. It's not challenging; it's just tedious.

Weapon Scaling That Feels Grindy:

Each new area requires higher-tier gear, which means you'll be constantly farming resources to upgrade your weapons. This can feel repetitive and grindy, especially when you're attached to a particular weapon.

A World That Lacks Life:

Despite the beautiful environments, the world feels strangely lifeless. There are plenty of NPCs, but they just stand around, staring blankly at you or each other. It's like a scene straight out of Starfield's launch.
Perhaps this is a remnant of the game's original multiplayer plans.

Technical Troubles: A Mixed Bag

Micro-Stutters:

The micro-stutters on PC are a real bummer. They're not constant, but they're frequent enough to be noticeable and distracting. Hopefully, Obsidian will address this with a future patch. It's not uncommon for games to have performance issues at launch, so fingers crossed that they'll get it sorted out.

Bugs:

Not Game-Breaking, But Annoying There are definitely some bugs in Avowed, from glitching out of bounds to broken quests and NPCs stuck in rocks. It's not the most polished game out there, but it's not a complete disaster either. The bugs are pretty rare, so they don't completely ruin the experience. But they're definitely a nuisance.

Overall, while Avowed has some promising aspects, it falls short in several key areas. The story takes a sharp decline, the character design feels uninspired, and the difficulty scaling feels unbalanced. Avowed had so much potential, but it just didn't quite reach its full potential. It's like a delicious-looking cake that turns out to be a bit undercooked.

So, would I recommend it? No I wouldn't. Unless you're a die-hard Obsidian fan or you're desperate for a new RPG to play, I'd say to stay away. If you have Game Pass, give it a try and see if it's your cup of tea. But for now, I'd say it's a pass.

The Good and Woke of Dragon Age: The Veilguard!
-----------------------------------------------

Hey Everyone! Let’s Dive into Dragon Age: The Veilguard!

Today, we’re gearing up to explore the enchanting world of Dragon Age: The Veilguard! But before we jump in, I must give you a heads-up: spoiler discussions will be lurking later on! Don’t worry, I’ll give you another warning before we go there. For now, let’s kick things off with a spoiler-free discussion!

The Heart of the Game: Gameplay!
First things first: let’s talk about the most crucial element of any game—the gameplay! This time around, the gameplay is built on a completely different set of core pillars compared to previous Dragon Age titles. Instead of the traditional tactical approach, the game opts for an action-packed, flashy style reminiscent of modern hits like God of War and Assassin’s Creed.

The combat is incredibly smooth, delivering that sweet impact you crave, and let me tell you, it’s a ton of fun! BUT—there’s a catch!

A Word of Caution: Difficulty Levels
Here’s the deal: to truly enjoy the combat mechanics, you’ll want to play on the easier difficulties. Why? Because as you progress, enemies become incredibly spongy, which can really dampen the excitement on higher difficulty levels. Trust me on this one—stick to the lower difficulties, and you’ll be thanking me later! 🙏

Unleash Your Potential!
But wait, there’s more! In addition to swinging and throwing your weapons, you gain access to special abilities from both you and your companions, allowing for some seriously devastating combos and that extra sweet damage!

The skill menu is packed with numerous stat increases and some visually stunning abilities, making it a rewarding experience to unlock and enhance your skills. Overall, it’s shaping up to be pretty fantastic!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Diving into the Story of Dragon Age: The Veilguard (Spoiler-Free!)

Now, let’s take a moment to explore the story—and let me tell you, it’s definitely worth your time! Don’t get me wrong; it may not reach the iconic heights of Dragon Age: Origins or Dragon Age II, and it certainly isn’t as dark and brutal as its predecessors. However, that doesn’t mean it’s a bad story at all!

Think of it like an Avengers or a classic Marvel movie—it’s all about enjoying the ride! Immerse yourself in the vibrant world that Bioware has meticulously crafted, and you might just stumble upon surprises that even you didn’t see coming!

So buckle up and get ready for an adventure that promises to be both engaging and entertaining. There’s a lot to discover, and trust me, it’s going to be a thrilling journey!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Discovering the Stunning World of Dragon Age: The Veilguard!

Let’s dive into the world—and wow, just wow! The visuals are absolutely breathtaking, packed with intricate details and countless secrets waiting to be uncovered! From special chests to hidden boss fights, there’s no shortage of surprises around every corner.

You’ll find yourself completely immersed in the stunning landscapes that Bioware has crafted. Honestly, I sometimes lose track of time just wandering through the enchanting forests because they are simply gorgeous!

I’m giving a 10 out of 10 for world design—it’s just that phenomenal! Like, seriously... damn!

Level Design: Fun with a Twist!
Now, let’s talk about the level design—it’s a blast overall! However, there’s one little hiccup that raises an eyebrow: Who in their right mind thought, “This is a great idea!”?

While the game throws some puzzles your way to keep things interesting, it sometimes feels like they were designed by a toddler with crayons. I mean, come on! Picking up a shiny ball from one spot and placing it in a socket across the room isn’t exactly brain-bending!

And just a heads-up: the puzzles don’t get any more complex; they just seem to stretch on longer for the same simple tasks. It can really make you feel a bit, well... less than clever at times!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Exploring the Character Creator: Unleash Your Imagination!

Wow, let’s talk about the Character Creator! I can’t help but feel positively thrilled about it! 🎉 You have the power to create whoever you want—the possibilities are practically endless!

Tons of Options: The customization is incredibly open, allowing you to craft a character that truly reflects your vision.

Edit Anytime: And here’s the best part—you can edit everything, even while you’re in the middle of the game! If something doesn’t sit right with you, just change it on the fly!
This level of flexibility means your character can evolve just like your adventure! So, dive in and let your creativity run wild!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wrapping Up: Our Spoiler-Free Discussion!

And there you have it, folks! This wraps up our spoiler-free discussion, and I have to say, I’m feeling pretty pumped about it! Just on its own, I’m giving Dragon Age: The Veilguard a solid 8 out of 10!

But here’s the kicker: if you’re a true Dragon Age OG, it’s really a 50/50 chance whether you’ll love it or hate it. Many of the original fans are divided on this one! But guess what? I’m an OG, and I absolutely LOVE it! So that’s my take!

Stay tuned for more discussions and let’s keep the excitement rolling!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Journey Through Dragon Age: The Veilguard—Length and Technical Brilliance!
When we dive into the length of this incredible game, let me tell you—it’s definitely worth your time! ⏳ Completing everything, from side missions to collectibles, took me a whopping 69 hours—and yes, I’m chuckling because that’s just too perfect!

A Technical Marvel!
Now let’s talk about the technical state of the game, and folks, it’s absolutely top-notch! The game runs like a dream—smooth, responsive, and with bugs kept to an absolute minimum.

In summary, we’re looking at a launch state that’s genuinely impressive. Bioware has truly outdone themselves this time, and I can’t help but be excited about what’s in store!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Minor Spoiler Discussion: A Big Problem with The Veilguard!

Alright, folks, let's dive into a fiery topic that’s been burning in my mind! I have one HUGE issue with The Veilguard, and it revolves around a character named Taash (or whatever they call them). Now, before you jump to conclusions about me, let me clarify: I have NO problem with non-binary characters. My concern lies in how and where this is presented!

Having elements like this thrown into the mix outside of a character creator in a Dragon Age game feels utterly out of place! This has never been a discussion point before, so suddenly acting like it's always been part of the lore? Absolutely not!

And can we talk about how this is being shoved down our throats? It feels like a prank or a tasteless joke—especially since Taash is probably the most unlikable character I’ve encountered in the series!

Honestly, Dragon Age: The Veilguard could have soared to a 9 if it weren’t for this character! It would have sold better and avoided the backlash it’s facing right now.

I mean, I couldn’t help but laugh when their mother got hit in the face with a rock! Talk about a memorable moment!

I'm lost for words.... this DLC is a joke so far. First things first, I didn't finish it yet and I don't think I will either! but its just more of the same anyway. Just worse somehow. You might ask how that's possible, well first of you get a distress call which leads you to a lost Space Station which sounds cool but really isn't, at all.
I had more fun shooting around the Corpses in Zero G then anything else in there!
After you finished running around in there you will be sent to the new Area with three Groups of the Same religion and all of them are in disarray. Now its your mission to become part of them and solve all problems because you are very special and you actually have a Brain. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

At the same time though, you as the player don't have a choice because all "choices" have the same outcome. You know what game got a critical reception for exactly that?
If you guessed Fallout 4 then you are absolutely right!
In Starfield though... Ohhhh its so much worse. I was talking with a Scientist and a Priestess of some kind and they had a useless argument on how to proceed. At some point I had to make a choice on who to agree with and I tried both options. To clarify it was either "Yes lets believe in success" or "we shouldn't play with things we don't understand and do more science stuff"... That's what my options were basically. Both options lead me to go investigate the unknown area anyway. Both just ignored my Answer and proceeded to not even react to it! Glorious writing Bethesda I love it!

It just works out of 10

Well in a weird and twisted way this is just a (I'm going to be very rude) lazy copy of Fallout 4's Nuka World DLC. But the difference is that Starfield's universe is way to safe, way to nice and innocent. Which means there are no stakes nothing dark and nothing that makes you think or care. The dialog is on the Nose you know what's going to happen and if it continues like this And just so you know the writing as mentioned before is not just on the Nose hahaha.... no. Its so stupid and filled with nonsense that Id rather watch The Acolyte, why? because so far.... Acolyte has better writing. Immersion is also another topic which we have to mention because it ripps you out on every corner. The way it takes you out is what NPC's do and what they talk about. Imagine you talk to your Neighbor and tell them that you go to the bakery everyday, because its the only place where you can eat something in town... yeah that level of immersion is in this. The worst kind exposition EVER!

And no nothing changes in the Game everything is still the same as you know it.
The only exception is that they just ripped the Frontiers Cars to this.

The "new" Items like Spacesuits and Outfits are just things from the Base Game slightly changed and Color swapped.
Take the Varuun Spacesuit for example... Its white now.... with a different Visor!... GLORIOUS! no... no... no.... that ain't it Chief. Weapons are the same too they just look slightly different but not really.

After reading all this, you might ask... what's the new Area like?
Well buckle up and let me tell ya!

The new City and Hub area is looking okay... nothing special, you'll forget it by next week. The Thumbnail and all of the promotional material for this DLC is what its about but it just look's like a glued and broken Water Globe. I don't like it but that's opinion based I think. If we take a look back at the City though you will get more and more disappointed. Why? Because Bethesda tried to copy the Outer Worlds in a boring and unappealing way. The Structures like Buildings walkways and everything in between make no sense and follow no logic, meaning that it looks bad to the eye and even worse then that is that it plays bad.

So if you ask me I can't recommend this to you. Stay away safe your money and Just go and play "the Outer World's"

Now a 2 out of 10

PS: Have Fun going out of Business!

Thank you for reading and I hope I could help you!
Take care :)

I have played a bit, not a whole lot but I can already recommend it.
Lets go over the negatives first.

The Story: - There is not much to say for the Games story because its not a good one. The only Story that is good is those from the Characters but the Main one is.... well I skip the Cuts now cause its to boring to listen to.
(Not the focus anyway)

Back here and back there: - Now what I mean by that is that some Quest you do are stretched by going to the Quest guy, going to a cave, going back to the guy, oops I forgot to mention meaning you have to go back into the same cave just to pick up something or just kill a guy, to then just go back to the same guy which then later calls you with some holo stuff.... Why?
(Some quests are like this, it feels stupid)

repeat: -You know whats bad about a Story? when you repeat the same mission directly after you finished it, but with a different rune. Pick another one! Not the same....

Now that concludes the really bad stuff. Now its time for the Loot in here.

With everything now obtainable no micros and a reworked everything, makes this Game an example for what a Game should be when the Servers die! A huge W I love these guys for it!

But the Loot system could use some work. I think it would be better, if you could only obtain the Armor pieces for the Character that you currently play as and not everyone else... Would be cool!

The Gameplay is great here! You notice that Fun was the focus! Everything is very easy to understand. from the Build systems to gear and so on, there is nothing to complicated! Its pretty satisfying to hit stuff... I love hitting Barrels!

The UI is very simple but effective so no complains here!

Overall The Game is a lot of fun! the Stability and Technical State is pretty high up. Impressive!
You cant do anything wrong with 25 moneys. So go for it!

So it is time to talk about this Game.
And oh boy this is just sad.

So for starters I played this game on Xbox already and afterwards on PC so my actual time playing is around 300 hours by now.

Im currently in New Game +10
reached lvl 300+
and nothing left to do.

Lets start at the beginning, the Character Creation. This was one of the biggest selling points of the Game similar to Cyberpunk 2077, be who you wanna be! in short impactful CHOICE.
Sounds pretty neat doesnt it?
Well yes, but its not. I didnt expect like a lot of the choices but, lets take the "Kid stuff" perk as example.
You still have your parents and you can interact with them, get some nice loot (not really) and just talk a bit.
BUT
at one point it just stops. no new lines, no reaction on anything happening around them.
Terrormorph outbreak? Nah I sleep. Nothing about that, even though its been happening in your backyard.
Which is just a lack of detail. I could go over a bunch of these but, thats not the biggest issue.

Choice is something thats not really a thing. Wanna be a Naughty One? (EVIL)... not really a thing in this Game.
If you shoot 1 Neutral NPC the Main Companions will leave in an instant... no really this happens.
UNLESS they are NPCs following you, then you can do whatever you want with the following NPC.
Just for you to know there is no Evil Companion in this game.(Main Cast)

The 1000+ Planets are a joke. There is not a lot to do if at all... I mean its all copy pasted stuff so whats the point?
and since most of the things are computer generated... You will notice. Barren and soulless planets with some rocks.
Great wonderful, thats why I love bethesda games... heh.. hugh

Exploration is a.... Loading.... Loading.... Loading... did you get all that?
If not.. Exploration is pretty much a constant Menu swap with a lot of Loading Screens.

The Skill trees are mostly % of this damage % of this resistance but there are some cool perks aswell.
another negative for the perks though is how you unlock higher tiers of them.
The first tier is free to unlock, but after that a challenge based progression system shows up.
at first it sounds alright until you realise how annoying it actually is.
I want to play how I wanna play, not how you want it from me Game!

Lets get to the Fetchquest... ugh sorry, I mean story.
The Story just exists to not be played because its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring. I have nothing good to say about it and Im not going into spoilers here but this is just... no. The Side quests are at least okay. some of them are pretty good even. But whats the point in doing anything when you realise that when the story ends everything just goes poof, gone, do it again you ducker.
This game has a point of no return and if you beat the story you are thrown into new game plus.
But at least its better then Suicide Squads story. Then again, the World of Starfield feels way too... childish?! everythings just too nice and shiny. The Games supposed to have stressful topics but... I dont agree. its to friendly.

The Weapons either suck, are just broken or cursed. 95% of the weapon designs are just... Compare it to the
Automatic Fallout 4 Assault rifle.

Melee weapons are pretty useless. no damage no running attack so... just useless.
there are like 3 Laser guns in a Space game..... Wild right?
and 2 Particle guns I think.

The Spacesuit designs are not my Style like at all. to thicc and boring for me. The best Spacesuits are the NG+ Suits
My favorite is the one you get in NG+10 actually looks pretty cool.

The Games Overall looks Graphics wise are pretty much okay. Nothing groundbreaking but pretty okay.
The Handcrafted locations in Starfield are very pretty and they do look very nice.
And thats the Sad part, if Starfield would have focused on like 5 planets each with a Fallout new Vegas siced map... it be perfect! But no... we needed bigger numbers.

Since I didnt touch the Gameplay side so far Id say its about time. The Gameplay itself is pretty fun and it works well.... most of the time. Sometimes bullets that hit dont register as a hit and miss.
But Im missing some things like bullet drop off. (Battlefield style of shooting)

The Game now got even worse. Like sure the Creation Kit is now out there BUT, so are the Bethesda created Paid Mods that are pretty broken. as always.

I own the "Season pass" for this game and I refuse to play the DLC because why would I care? Its a boring game with nothin to show.

But all in all, its a game that still feels Soulless a bit. The last good and I mean GOOD bethesda game we got was Skyrim.
So Im just gonna stick to that. Because there is a lot of passion and love. the Space game is just going to drift away in Dark Space until its forgotten.

Those are my thoughts and I hope that I could help you out with this review.

Take care
