I think a lot of people have said it already, its Warioware, but it goes beyond microgames and music. The music is crisp and amazing. THE UI AND STYLE IS ON POINTTTTTTT. Anyone who truly loves video games to the finest detail, you will see how much love each developer, artist, programmer and such have pour into this game, and its not even out yet.

In such a short demo I have enjoyed every second of it from the dialogue to the gameplay itself. I have play the stories a few times just to check other character conversations and other story paths. It leaves you wanting more. I wish nothing but overwhelming success for these developers and will support them all the way.

Supergiant took their formula and mechanics from Hades 1 but greatly improved on it. Sadly the Story is simply is lacking compared to the first by a bit, but I still think people should play it just for the gameplay (and MUSIC!) alone.

Honestly pretty solid game just to play Mahjong. Ignore the Gacha cosmetics and characters, does nothing but to purely serve additional looks and emojis. Not to mention the pricing is garbage and would take forever to get enough free rolls for a single character pity.

The minigames that come up during limited events are fun though, I would try those, but don't touch cosmetics.

You know one of the times where you and your friends mess around and play a game for a month to break off from playing your weeklies, dailies or just trying to find something unique and move on?

A game that everyone kinda expected to be flavor of the move and move on or just be cute anime girls playing up to fanservice. This silly gacha is actually way more than just cute horse girls. Underneath the design its an extremely replayable rougelike simulation that is quite engaging with a lot of complexity built into it due to the support card system. You build up your Uma/trainees stats to help them achieve their careers and dreams of achieving titles their real life counter parts achieved (or at least tried to achieve) because these Umas careers and personality were made to be similar to their real life horse (and sometimes jockeys). All playable characters are based on horses that raced primarily in Japan. Playing of some these careers gives you different perspectives. Playing Oguri cap will have you face off against Super creek and Tamano Cross in some of their races where you will notice similar paths crossed when you play Super creek (and eventually, when she comes out in Global) Tamano's career. There isn't actually a lot of fanservice and the fanbase is quite tame, mostly in due to respect of that these characters are based on irl horse counterparts.

There is a lot to check out and the game is on a healthy track for the global fanbase, to help ease any concerns from those that had issues with Princess connect shutting down.

I see this question a lot about whether this game is pay to win or expensive due to being a gacha game and how pvp works. To make this simple, If you want maybe just a few Umas you find cute or want, then its likely you won't spend even a dime (if you at least play a few days of the week). As of today there has been at least 20000 carats (the currency to pul) given out since the start of the game and you need 30000 for a spark if you are really unlucky).

However, if you want to compete in PvP or want a lot of Umas, expect to fork out a lot of money or hope you are a very lucky person, The rates are about what you expect for Gacha (3% for an SSR card (or a 3☆ character)). I have seen builds where you can definitely compete against others with very substandard decks or just an array of simple SSR or SR cards, but its a struggle and I feel like that only happens after a lot of free time spent and minmaxing as much as possible, which I don't think the average gamer will do here. Again you really can ignore being good at pvp, its not going to really do much besides give you more pulling currency, which is you will usually lose more investing in umas and support cards just to get in a better bracket. Its really just for either try hards or whales (or a mix of the two) to compete in. Think of it as you only want to spend if you care about the equivalent becoming champion in siege or global elite in CS. If you actually want a lot of Umas I suggest playing now and hope you get your pulls quickly as that can easily get expensive either way.

Overall I think its worth a try, regardless you like horse girls or want to try a simulation game without any strings attached. If you don't like the idea of gacha at all then I would not suggest playing the game as it does center around getting most of your resources around it, if the concept of that is frustrating due to the RNG mechanics behind it.

I highly recommended checking out Gametora and the Uma musume offical discord for help and in depth guides as the ingame tutorial doesn't scratch the surface how deep the mechanics can get later down the road. People who enjoyed long length simulation games from EU4, Endless space to monster rancher 1&2 can see interest in playing these games.

Pretty fun arcade based, bullet hell game. Fun to play for a few hours. Not very forgiving compared to similar games on the market. Something I would suggest if you want a something quick, but focused.

A basic, yet open ended, multi-ending game with many paths to take. You can learn from others or burn everything to the ground without remorse. Lots of replayability just to see what you can do.

One of the most honest and "free" to play to game to date for me. Everything that is based on gameplay is possible to earn as a free to play gamer. Even comestics that cost real money to buy is possible to earn through selling items for Plat. The only things you miss out without cash is player made comestics. Gameplay core itself is grind, there is some good story background and lore that open up as you go through the quests. There some issues with the grind balance and some warframes, Digital extremes have gotten better with the feedback. Much better than it was many years ago.

A great, simple RTS style game, but those that play and really like Supreme commander 1, you will not like this game. It was built for consoles in for its control scheme. I still think its a good game to enter into the series or get a grasp of crazy big RTS games in general.

Listen, if you don't have this game and you played and loved Terror from the deep and the first X-COM game. Get this game. Now. This game is still in beta development and is so amazing. They made a X-com that worked flawlessly (so far) and no sight of failure anywhere. There are some bugs that will be fixed and you should buy early access to help out funding and testing out issues. You won't regret it. 5/5

The game has taken a course towards heavily grinding and pay to grind mechanics, making it very hard to progress much in this game, which won't really matter in the end, as you will be out-classed and out-matched until you then slog to upgrade your equipment. Too much effort to place into one game compared to other Free to play games in the market.


EDIT MAY 2023:

I would like to again show my discontent of this game after the horrible economy update that released and the terrible PR. The post made by the director was very egocentric and very aggressive towards the western playerbase while failing to understand how to communicate with their players (US vs them mentality). Don't waste money on a company that tells people to stop leaving negative reviews, tries to tell you that you are wrong and silences their playerbase whenever they have control.
