The further you live from the US, the less I can recommend it, 250+ ping is MASSIVE for this game

other than that, It's a fun grindy traditional MMO, minimal controls, get quest, kill 10 bandits, get reward. Enter dungeon, kill dragon, get reward. The in-game store and microtransactions? pretty bad, but mainly for endgame, it shouldn't affect you that much in leveling and early campaigns

gave it a decent try, but games like this and Stardew Valley, I can't enjoy it.
You should definitely try it at least though, and keep an eye on that sequel!

a decent alternative to the giants out there when you just want a new game to do some hacking and slashing while not having to worry about leagues and trading. being able to swap between online and offline modes makes me heavily respect it, the always adjustable difficulty, a special way to do a skills and talents system.. Despite having played PoE, Grim Dawn, Diablo, I will be glad to be playing Dragonkin for potential hundreds of hours

Contrary to what the others say I actually like this DLC
It's pretty meh story wise as expected, but the missions are quite the step up in difficulty and I love it, playing on Hard, the AI are relentlessly aggressive. The Civs feel great, loving the Armenians.

R1999 and Wuwa are the two gacha games that genuinely respect my time.
that said, R1999 has a LOT of quit moments, the early stories, the very diabolical mid-game character mat grinds, but staying true to the path, you'll see this game does a lot of things right.
