A really interesting and refreshing entry into the monster collector genre, to be described as a remix of the genre is a good analogy.

The music is great, especially when you use the fusion mechanic and the lyrics kick in.
How the game handles type match ups are interesting and more than just more damage or resist damage (examples: using a fire move on an ice type changes the ice into a water type. Using a poison move on a fire type gives the fire type an AP boost.)
The battle system is strategic where you have an AP system where you can balance low cost moves with high cost moves.
The story, world and characters are quite fleshed out and engaging that you can tackle in about any order you want.

All in all, I had a lot of fun playing this game and would recommend this game to anyone who has a interest in monster collectors.
