The wolf growled slowly, resisting as much as he could. He leaned close to the ekitten's ear to say, "Don't worry, sweetie, I have no intention of harming you. I'm a wolf with principles." At that moment he let go of her, causing her to jump a little again. The ekitten somehow felt disappointed and was now sitting there on the wolf's lap, but he was no longer touching her and sniffing her. She turned around to face the wolf and was surprised to find his snout smacking her. He was smiling, he knew, he knew it was a game, he knew she wanted more. "What? You look sad. Don't you have to go back to your friend who knocked on the door?" His tone was mocking, because he knew the answer, he could smell it, because with every second that he didn't have his paws on her, her female scent grew stronger.
