BUYER BEWARE: THE GAME'S ANTI-CHEAT IS BROKEN AND WILL POSSIBLY CORRUPT ITSELF EVERY TIME IT LAUNCHES - IT WILL ALSO BREAK FC 25 AND FC 24

I refunded this after about 40 minutes of troubleshooting after doing everything on the face of the earth so that it could at least launch in the menu, but it would always take me to the EA app screen just to say that it was an error on their end; upon further investigation I found that the Javelin Anti-Cheat was corrupting its own files over and over again, even after verifying the integrity of them over and over. A shameful product that, even after plenty of posts on the EA Forums, still doesn't seem to be an answer to this problem.

Best part of it all? The Anti-Cheat also broke my previous purchase of FC 24, which I can't even play anymore - having the same problem of the Javelin Anti-Cheat corrupting itself on launch.

EDIT: I FOUND THE FIX AND CAN PLAY FC 24 AGAIN. Solutions online say that you have to deactivate certain background apps for it to work; but that's not the answer.

THE SOLUTION: UNINSTALL ANY MINOR BACKGROUND SERVICES THAT YOU MAY HAVE. In my case, I uninstalled the MSI app and I could start the game again. Turns out that Javelin REALLY doesn't like that app. Other performance monitoring apps that you have installed in your PC may be at fault for Javelin not launching.

The review will remain at negative due to this unbelievably erroneous overcorrection from EA's own anticheat service.
