I never thought I would post a "I wish I could give this a thumbs up" review.

Until I met this game unfortunately. I will still put in a few hours after this review for some unfinished curiosity. But that is it.

1) This is not a community that wants to be your friend. Everyone inside it has this hostile energy from "somewhere" in their real life; that they cannot release into game. So they release it into the people within the game and its discord community. There is no healthy bonding in this MMO environment.

2) You will never experience a smooth seasonal launch. It is understandable to have the first day go wrong. The second day even gets some breathe room. However, they consistently will have the entire first week be a complete mess. Consistently. The leaderboard consists of who was able to hold connection the longest to a game without crashing.

3) RMT market decimates players ability to even attempt auction house prices after a certain amount of time. My fresh level 30 has maybe 200k. However for $7.99 you can get an easy 1000 Million! Clearly there is an intended way to get rich so you can even offer such a thing. -- But it creates a MASSIVE gap between a newbie and their ability to use the marketplace.

A double edged opinion is the fact the cheapest items -- are normally stuff a newbie shouldn't even be holding yet. (Angelic Items) However because an end-game player is farming that boss repeatedly. Can find very cheap variations on the market. Leaving a new player feeling like someone else almost geared their character for them. Buying upgrades they may never - ever - replace.

Those are my three reasons personally. None of them involve the actual gameplay. The bosses. The looting system. I grew up on Diablo. I enjoy what the game actually offers.

Its just unfortunate that anytime you would be hyped to start up. You're met with disconnections and people that seem really intent on letting you feel how much they hate life. I wish I was a bigger single player gamer. I think the offline mode would be a top tier experience for anyone who likes the solitude while playing.
