I am a 55 year actual trucker father, and probably one of the many older people playing this game. I am a single father to my son, who is 15 now. My son got this game for from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 12 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So i decided to get this game after I was happy to see him share my passion for trucking and big trucks themselves. I asked my son for help and he taught me the basic controls (a game is different from real trucking after all). Me and my son then did a few hauls and I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my son since my wife had died. I actually ended up playing the game more than he did but it helped me learn that my son is actually very proud of the work that I do

I only hit recommend because the game is fun at its core, has a great style and banger music.

But I can't recomment its structure, it's basically a roguelike except progression seems to be linear so you just unlock stuff in the same exact order, at least at the beginning. I couldn't bring myself to repeat what I just did in the previous 30 minutes again because it's just kinda boring to start over with your peashooter.

We didn't end up playing the game much but it helped me and my song learn that we share an interest in shooter games and it made us try more of them.
