What is The Legend of Khiimori?

The Legend of Khiimori is a third person open world horse game where you run around their massive world and deliver packages to the people of Mongolia. Its based in the 13th century which means the horses they are making do not resemble the same horses we see today.

Initial Thoughts:

-"Woah the horses are chonky- I love little chonks."

Beginner Player Friendly?

I would argue this game is beginner player friendly, it has a beginning of the game tutorial where it shows you how to play and how to continue with objectives while also actively playing the game itself. It teaches you all the fundementals about training your horse, upgrading your horse and caring for your horse without being to overwhelming.

Game Play:

For the first while you are doing the mian missions and as a courier that means- well- youre the maillady! You run around and deliver packages and complete missions in order to progress through the game. But be careful as there can be some scary things that may impact your partner in spooky ways, such as wolves and bears. Mother natures elements can also take its toll on your trusted companion, so be warey of the journy you embark on. The game can start a little more slow paced, however thats because you at this point are just starting to play the game and embark on the amazing adventure that its about to throw at you. Now as a side note, I personally really enjoy the horse mechanics, they force you to slow down in a way which helps you really appreciate the effort they put into this game.

Graphics:

At first, the graphics were a bit choppy. However- all you have to do is play around with some settings and then your graphics will be smooth sailing from there. They are beautiful and compliment East Asia very well considering that is where it is based (granted a couple years before). I don't recommend this game for more low end PC's as it may have a hard time running on your computer.

Community:

At the time of writing this there isn't yet much of a community, however, im assuming the horse girl gamers are about to swarm and I know them to be quite supportive people.

How long can you play?

So far this games story can take hours to complete from what I have seen from other people playing the game. There seems to be more content coming in the story department that at this time is not yet released. However, if I know the type of audience that will be playing this game, I have a feeling the breeding will take up a lot of their time. And perhaps my time to.

My Opinion:

In my opinion, if you are looking for a wonderful story game that is based around running around the map like a mad man, this may be the game for you. I do recommend this game to the horse gamers as there seems to be more exciting content to come related to horses, and I am excited to see how this game progresses. HOWEVER, if you are not into slow paced games, this game may not be up your alley.

Overall Review

★ 9/10 - I would have made it a ten but it is still very buggy at this time.
