This game's meta is in a horrible state, and every game someone is throwing. Cool!

When it comes to fast paced, single player, arena shooters, it's hard to beat this. Sure, Doom Eternal is, in my opinion, SLIGHTLY more fun. But that's 60 dollars. And made by a triple AAA studio with millions of dollars of funding. This game, priced at a whopping 25 DOLLARS, developed by primarily one person, goes above and beyond. The aesthetic, the feel, the passion of this game, is all generally amazing. I've been playing movement shooters since I was 13, when I installed Team Fortress 2 onto my all-in-one desktop. I've played Doom 2016, Quake Champions, Quake Live (which I suck at btw), Titanfall 2, Doom Eternal, and Ultrakill sits near the top of this list. Early Access aside, this genuinely might be one of the best purchases any fan of video games could buy. It's got the style, it's got the speed, it's got the aesthetic, its got FOV SLIDER THAT GOES ABOVE 90 THANK GOD

This game is amazing, and while I don't agree with the recent censorship changes, but if you actually care about it this much, to reviewbomb it, you need to touch grass

Dark Souls is one of my favorite games of all time. I got spoiled on some things but it would have been hard to ruin this game for me. This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic and everyone needs to play it. Might be the biggest Dark Souls fan there is no cap.
The DLC is also fantastic. Painted world has a very ethereal feel, while Artorias the Abysswalker was just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome. There's only ONE bad part in this game, but it's really short so eh.

This game is actually fantastic. A change from the combat loop of 2016, but it's a good change. It's still Doom, just bigger and better. ALSO BATTLEMODE ROCKS ♥♥♥♥ TDM

After MONTHS of having this game I have finally finished it. And wow, Respawn has never missed once. huh? The gameplay might as well be the definite for Star Wars Jedi gameplay. The story as well is amazing, and the game's soundtrack and visuals are very pleasing. I don't see a reason to not get this game if you like Star Wars.

This game is fun. If that's all you wanted then you can run along and buy the game.
Quake Champions tries to bring the intricacies of quake to a more general audience, and I think it does it well without lowering the skill ceiling too much. Abilities and tech that everyone used to be able to do have been shuffled between the new "characters" or classes or whatever they are called. I like playing this game because I get high on arena shooters. If you want the classic quake experience and don't like the whole classes system just go play quake live man.

I really dislike this game. I bought it some years ago and finally decided to give it a try, and oh boy I wish I played it sooner so I could refund it. The game controls very poorly. I understand trying to go for the retro feel, but I have an easier time playing super mario all stars on my snes emulator. It hides under the veil that it is "difficult" by being a relatively easy platform with horrendous controls. It feels like cuphead looked at this game and said, I wanna be that, but was so much better in every single way. The only thing this game has going for it is that is pretty. 3/10

This is my first "Interactive movie" type game I have ever played. And I have to say, just wow. I have only done one ending so far but it makes me want to do the rest. It's engaging and the quicktime decisions make you feel urgency. If you had no time limit to choose, I feel like this game wouldn't be as much fun. The only con I can think of is the fact that there are only 7 endings. Which seems a little wild, as you make upwards of 50 decisions each time. It makes you think that there would be more decisions that mean something. But overall, it is a great game, and 13 dollars is a perfect price.
