for some reason this game works perfectly fine in windowed but almost always in fullscreen i start dropping fps after 5 seconds

Just finished a second full playthrough trying to get the two achievements I was missing, renegade kids and dang, granny! since when I beat the game the first time around, I was offline, so these achievements were forever unobtainable unless I did everything all over again.
