You're interpretating things wrong here and just assumed that you bothered me with your friend request.
If I had to guess I'd say it's either because of previous experiences or due to low self-esteem or something along the line. But whatever the reason in the end is it warped your way of looking at the whole situation.
You see, if you had looked closer objectively (and without feeling afraid of me rejecting you maybe?!), then you would have noticed that I hadn't been online for over a week and thus did not even have a chance to respond to your friend request. I just never saw it and it had nothing to do with you bothering me at all.
I've just been busy with relatives visiting me so I wasn't online - and that's about it^^
